“Fucking turd,” I mumbled under my breath.

The party had just gotten real old, real quick. I checked my watch. It was close to midnight and my feet were killing me in the crazy heels I was asked to wear.

A little while later, I locked eyes with the birthday boy. Fuck me, he was gorgeous. But, I was still steamed, so I gave him a cold stare. He kept his eyes on me, undeterred by my standoffish behavior. The man was unapologetic in the way he flirted with me. His striking hazel eyes were sending me a clear message. Their sentiment was scandalous.

My surprise birthday party wasn’t strictly a surprise. Not that I minded. Vlad and the boys thought it a good idea to celebrate my 30th with song, dance, enough booze to sink a battleship, and, of course, as much pussy as they could muster. I was one happy boy.

I could have slapped Dmitri, though. The drunken fool was all over a stunning waitress. The corrosive glare that radiated from her green eyes stirred up the slumbering member inside my pants. I hadn’t had a good screw in way too long, and the waitress with the perfect ass was certainly my type. It was, after all, my birthday. Perhaps a little treat was on the cards.

I watched her as she moved about the crowd. She seemed out of place–too classy to be a lowly server. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. Her long blonde hair cascaded down her back and moved like a heavy, plush curtain when she turned her head. I imagined pulling my fingers through the golden mane and grabbing a handful while I broke her in like one would a wild mare.

“Fine pair of titties on that one,” Vlad smirked.

“Aren’t they just?” I smiled.

“Well, Cuz, may as well start off your 30th year with a bang. Tell you what. I’ll leave this one for you, shall I? A birthday gift from me to you.”

“Gee, thanks, Vladimir. You’re too kind.”

He laughed and slapped me on the back.

“Go get her.”

My cousin, Vlad, was a committed manwhore. He was steadily working his way through the clubs of Los Angeles, nailing everything with a heartbeat. Vlad insisted he wasn’t the settling down type–not with a girlfriend, and certainly not with a wife.

I was way too busy to foster a romantic relationship, so the ‘ravage and run’ method worked very nicely for me. Having said that though, I wasn’t in the same league as dear Vlad when it came to the sheer volume of women I’d fucked. I was picky.

The way the woman with the perfect ass and blonde mane carried herself told me she wasn’t the skeevy type. I watched as she moved off to an area where there weren’t that many people. I followed her. She slipped behind a curtain. The hunt excited me–I was turned on.

I pulled back the curtain and entered the makeshift office. The woman turned when she heard me enter. Her green eyes were alive with curiosity and what I assumed was a touch of disdain. I couldn’t blame her. She was still smarting about being groped.

“Hi,” I said.

“Hello.”

I thought she would be intimidated by my presence–most people were–but she stood her ground and looked me dead in the eyes.

“I’m Max.”

“Happy birthday, Max,” she said, calmly.

“Thanks.”

She’d be a hell of a poker player.

“I’d like to apologize again for my friend,” I said when I saw she wasn’t going to talk to me. “He’s an ass sometimes.”

“There’s always one, I guess.”

It was so much more fun when they didn’t drop with their legs in the air.

“Do you have a name?” I asked and flashed her a practiced, devilish smile.

“Angelica.”
