He frowned. “I didn’t pass out.”
“Oh, sweetheart, you did, but maybe it’s because all your blood was rushing south.” Debbie was really coming out of her shell, it seemed.
Ian looked down and swore, and I had the pleasure of watching a former Navy SEAL blush. I grabbed his hand and pulled him up, keeping a hand on his shoulder to make sure he was good.
“I didn’t pass out. I definitely didn’t pass out after crying in front of everyone and then get a boner. That would be too much for me to take.” He pulled Violet up from the floor and held her close. “This is all your fault.”
Jayden grunted. “I’m going through too many emotions right now. I need one of your mom’s special brownies.”
Everyone turned to Debbie with shock clear on their faces. Ian took his moment of peace to adjust his dick and pull Violet’s mouth to his.
“You weren’t supposed to say anything, Jayden. Good grief.” Debbie sat in her chair and shook her head. “See if I offer you help relaxing next time you’re nervous about proposing to my daughter.”
“Sorry! I’m just freaking out. We’re going to have a kid!” Jayden turned to Ian for backup and saw him and Violet kissing. Sighing, he turned to me. “I should’ve just passed out.”
Ian pulled back and smiled down at Violet before swatting at Jayden. “I didn’t pass out.”
Violet bounced in her boots and looked back at her mom. “Did you finish the dinner?”
“Hey, should you be bouncing? What if you’re shaking the baby?” Ian, a sudden anxiety case, grabbed her hips and held her still. “Let’s research that first.”
“No, honey. Your father and I didnotfinish that dinner.” Debbie blushed and leaned into Pat. “We celebrated in other ways.”
Rose and Violet both gagged and shouted. “Mom!”
Pat nodded his head and patted his stomach, looking every bit the proud father figure. “You kids get out of here. Lunch tomorrow, though.”
We quickly said our goodbyes and gathered our things. But as happy as I was, I couldn’t help being a little spiteful. I looked back in at Sue and sighed. “Dammit, Sue, eat your dinner! Merry Christmas, everyone else!”
I thought I saw her hiding a smile before I turned to follow my growing family out.
The End.
