“Yeah, I’m tryingnotto think about what’s in the water.” Bennett slung an arm over her shoulders. “Let’s get out of here.” He wanted to get her warm and dry.

He glanced again at the garbage truck and the destroyed railing. His jaw tightened.

Westley had almost hurt Hadley. That was unacceptable.

I’m coming for you, arsehole.

* * *

Bennett groaned, clamping his hands on Hadley’s hips.

She rode him hard, moving up and down on his cock, her hands planted on his chest.

So damn beautiful.

Her hair was loose around her face, and the early morning light was making her skin glow. He’d stay here deep inside her for the rest of his damn life if he could.

He still wasn’t sure he deserved her, but he planned to spend the rest of his life proving that he did.

“Get there, beautiful.” He cupped one of her breasts.

She let out a throaty moan. “I love your cock, Bennett.”

He groaned, and slid his hand down her flat belly. The way she was clenching on his cock, he wouldn’t last much longer.

He found her clit. Damn, he loved watching the way she took him. Loved watching his cock sliding inside her.

“Close,” she panted.

“Come,” he growled.

She did. She threw her head back and cried out his name. Her pussy clamped down on him, and on the next upward thrust of his hips, he was coming.

“Hadley.” His hands clenched on her hips, and he poured himself inside her.

She slumped over him. “Mmm.”

He ran a hand over her back, savoring the feel of her.

“I need to get ready to go,” she said.

His hand tightened on her. He knew that Killian was picking her up soon to head out to the country estate.

Tension threaded through his gut. It was going to be a lunchtime wedding—ceremony in the gardens if the weather permitted, followed by a long lunch.

After the accident yesterday, he and Hadley had holed up in his place and planned. They’d gone through every little detail of the wedding and the location. He glanced over at the white catering outfit resting on a chair in the corner of his room. He’d join the caterers shortly to drive out to Nonsuch Mansion in Surrey.

Hadley raised her head. “I can feel you tensing. It’s going to be fine. We’ve got this.”

“We’ve got no idea what Westley looks like, or what he has planned.” So many things could go wrong. Bennett knew that because he’d had it happen before on missions.

Hell, just look at the one that had killed Hamed. His gut cramped.

She cupped his face, scratching his stubble. “We’vegotthis. You, me, Killian, Bram, Henry, David and his guys. We’ll be watching Kitty. We’ll know when Westley makes contact, then we’ll have him.”

Bennett blew out a harsh breath.

She nipped his lips. “I promise we’ll be back here this evening, fucking each other’s brains out.”
