“Bennett!”

He stilled, hands moving around her shoulders. “Did I hurt you?”

“No. God, no. Move, Bennett.”

He moved.

She rocked back to meet his heavy thrusts.

“Christ, you’re tight. You like it hard, don’t you, beautiful?” He covered her, his chest hot against her back. He bit her ear and she moaned. “You’re so elegant, cultured, but under it you’re strength and steel. You can take it hard.”

Hadley couldn’t think or process anything. She was lost in the intense pleasure. Lost in him. Her fingers dug into the couch.

“Touch yourself,” he groaned. “I want us to come together.”

She slid a hand under her body. She felt where Bennett’s cock drove into her. Her muscles clenched and he groaned. Then she found her clit.

But just as the pleasure was growing, his thrusts slowed. They were still firm, solid, and deliberate, and she could feel every slide.

“Feel that, Hadley?” he murmured.

“Bennett…”

“You and me. Feel how I fit here, just right. Like I belong.”

An intense mix of emotions hit her.

“Mine.” He thrust faster again, his hand sliding around her hip to cover hers. They rubbed her clit together. “I know what you need. Everything you need.”

Hadley’s orgasm ripped through her, his name torn from her lips. She clawed at the couch, searching for an anchor.

With another hard thrust, Bennett came, his groan long and tortured.

Then she just stared at the dark leather, listening to their labored breathing. Pleasure still shuddered through her like little electric shocks.

He pulled out, then pressed his lips to her spine. She shivered.

He helped her up, and his kiss to her lips was a sweet one. Then he retrieved the robe and wrapped her in it, before quickly dealing with the condom.

Hadley didn’t move, she was still processing and trying to get her brain working.

“Hadley?”

She swallowed. “You said a lot of things.”

“I could say it was the heat of the moment, but I meant them all.”

She sucked in a breath.

He cupped her jaw. “You’re mine, even if you can’t admit it yet.”

“Bennett.” She pushed her hair back. “I have no idea how to belong to someone. I don’t know how to give you what you deserve.”

He stroked her skin. “I know it’s scary. I’m not even sure I deserve you.”

She made an angry sound.

“But I do know that to get something that’s worth it, you have to take a risk, and you have to believe,” he said. “All I know is that I want you.”
