“Now look what you’ve done,” I said.
The sexual tension had been building between us and as soon as I was on top of him, his arms came around me, pulling me down. He kissed me and turned me onto my back. We were on the floor, between the couch and the coffee table, an enclosed space that gave us privacy. Both of us knew, I think, that Zoë wasn’t far away and that if we were doing this, we had to be fast.
And we did want to be doing this.
Will took off his sweater and glanced over his shoulder as I took off my top.
As soon as I took off my bra, he lost all interest in anything else. He kissed me again, then kissed my neck and touched my breasts. I felt a deep stirring between my legs as he kissed my ear, lightly biting my ear lobe and whispering, “Bad girl” into my ear. His voice, low and teasing, did something to me. A soft moan escaped from my lips. I sat up, shocked, scared I might have woken Zoë up.
“We’re good,” Will whispered with a grin. “At least I am.” He kissed me again, a deep and lingering kiss, his tongue probing and searching for mine.
I wanted him so much; I could hardly believe it. It was like a kind of hunger for his body, to feel him inside of me. I opened his jeans and reached inside, making sure he was ready, but there was no need to have checked. He reached for me, and I rose to meet him, feeling him plunging into me was the most exquisite sensation and I felt myself rocking my body, matching his rhythm, moaning softly as waves of pleasure rolled over my body.
We came up into a sitting position, his hands caressing my breasts, rubbing my nipples as I leaned back into the couch to take more of him inside of me.
“Are you close?” he gasped, and I could only nod as our bodies climaxed together, bumping against the sofa, and moving the gigantic piece of furniture so that I fell onto the ground, laughing. He collapsed on top of me, sliding off me onto the floor, both of us laughing and trying to keep it down.
It was amazing. After a moment to catch my breath, I scrambled to get dressed.
“You ok?” he asked as he did the same.
He touched my shoulder and I nodded. He went off to check on Zoë and I pushed the couch back into place, making sure everything looked the way it should. I went to the bathroom to fix my hair and take some time to compose myself.
The door opened and Will came in.
“Hey!” I whispered.
“It wasn’t locked,” he grinned.
He came up to me and took me in his arms. I could feel his heart beating fast.
“How’s Zoë?”
“Fast asleep. Didn’t hear a thing.”
“You sure?”
He nodded. His blue eyes scanned my face. “I want to know if you are fine, though.”
“I am,” I said.
And I was. I smiled.
“I don’t want you thinking this was just… you know… a quick… you know.”
He was struggling with the words.
“I know,” I said.
“I really like you. The past few weeks, ever since you’ve been herehave just been so different. When you said you wanted to leave all I could think of was ways to keep you here.”
“I don’t really want to go,” I admitted. “But the job…”
“I know… I know,” he interrupted me.
“But I don’t have to go there you know, to Colorado. I could get another job, maybe closer to the city,” I said. As soon as I said it, I knew that was what I wanted. Somewhere not so hot, preferably with soy lattes and proper bagels nearby. The thought of the room I had to share with another staff member at Rustic Rockies was too depressing. The thought of Chuck, stroking my arm lazily while watching the game with one eye, popped into my head. It couldn’t compete with Will’s chiseled jaw, the tender look in his eyes as he gazed at me.
“You’ll stay with us a while longer?” he asked. The hope in his eyes, so sweet, made my heart melt.
