“Yes,” Lochlan said dryly.

“She’s singing?” Webb asked.

Singing? That couldn’t be singing.

“She’s terrible,” Zander said, shocked.

“Zander!” she cried, flinging her arms up in the air. The sleeves of his hoodie fell back, showing off her red and sore-looking wrists. He winced seeing her skin looking so raw. He felt ashamed of those injuries even though he hadn’t been the one to inflict them.

“Yes?” he asked cautiously, wondering if she was still upset with him for forcing her to see the dentist.

“Zander, you’re so hot.”

Lochlan let out a snort of laughter. “Um, she’s still a bit out of it.”

She slumped against Lochlan. “Hey, you’re not Zander.”

“No, sweetheart, I’m not.”

Zander didn’t like the way Lochlan stared down at Keira. His face and eyes soft. That wasn’t happening. He wouldn’t risk that she’d choose the dentist over him.

No. Fucking. Way.

Striding over to her, he managed to slow down at the last moment not wanting to scare her. But it seemed that the drugs had taken off the edge of her anxiety as she just stared up at him with a loopy smile.

“Daddy Z!”

He froze. He was aware of Lochlan giving Keira, then him, a surprised look.

“I had a feeling she was a Little,” the other man said.

“Do you think she is?” Zander asked.

“I’d say there’s a strong possibility. Of course, it could be the drugs.”

Then she held up her arms. “Kiki up.”

Kiki?

“That’s cute,” Webb said as he moved closer.

She turned to him and Zander braced himself for her to call Webb something similar. Or to ask him to pick her up. It would hurt, but he knew he couldn’t hold anything against her when she was out of it like this.

“Hey, Spidey-man.”

“Spidey-man?” Webb looked startled.

“I believe that’s in reference to your name,” Lochlan said with a grin. “Just be grateful she’s not scared of spiders like she is of dentists. She’s already told me to get my creepy hands off her.”

“You put your hands on her?” Zander asked darkly.

“Just to do my job,” Lochlan said, stepping back with his hands up. “No other reason for me to touch her.”

“You best remember that,” Zander warned. “Mine.”

“What’s yours?” she asked. “And up! Up!”

“You better pick her up, she looks a bit unsteady,” Webb said as she listed to one side. He reached out but before he could touch her, Zander had her. He lifted her. Instead of carrying her bridal style, he held her against his chest with one arm under her butt. Her legs dangled down and he ended up shifting her to his hip so he had one arm free.
