One night and that’s it.

I say the words over and over again, begging them to sink in.

“That was better than any fantasy,” he murmurs against my neck.

It was better than anything… ever.

A loud rumble rolls through my belly.

He arches a brow and looks at my stomach.

I laugh. What else can I do when my world suddenly shifts and my stomach gurgles? “I didn’t eat dinner.”

“We better feed you then.” He grins. “You’re going to need the energy.”

“Can you honestly go again?”

Lucas’s thumb caresses my bottom lip, still puffy from sucking his cock. “I plan on coming inside that sweet pussy again and….”

His palm curves around my hip and squeezes a fleshy cheek. One finger strokes a slow, seductive pattern up and down the crease between. “Maybe here too.”

I suck in a surprised gasp as his finger finds my puckered hole. “What do you think, sweetheart? Dinner, then my finger in your ass while I taste your sweet cream?”

He’s so dirty and sexy and makes me want to try everything… except give my heart away again, but he can have my body any way he wants.

“Okay.”

CHAPTER6

Lucas peers inside the refrigerator. Light spills out, highlighting his sex-ruffled hair and bare chest. He looks like he belongs in my kitchen, searching for a midnight snack after wearing us both out like it happens every night.

A new fantasy hits me—nights spent exploring each other’s bodies and the mornings beginning with a kiss…

“It looks like your pussy isn’t the only thing that needs stuffing.” He winks at me over his shoulder. “Did our bet make you forget about groceries?”

The fantasy shatters with his words. There’s barely any food because I’ve slowly eaten my way through everything, so the fridge is empty when I leave.

But Lucas doesn’t know that because I haven’t told him about the move yet.

Most packed boxes are in the garage, waiting for the moving truck. Only a few sit unsealed in other rooms, barely noticeable. Unless Lucas opens each door, he won’t realize my cupboards are mostly empty.

Guilt sits uncomfortably in my chest.

I should tell him…

“It’s a good thing I make a mean grilled cheese.” Lucas pulls out a small block of cheese and tosses it in the air before catching it.

His smile is perfectly content, like making us grilled cheese at midnight is the only thing he wants to do.

He looks happy…

Is it selfish of me to keep him that way until the sun is up and our night is over?

I’ll tell him in the morning.

He hands me a warm plate, the sweet aroma of melted cheese and butter making my mouth water. “This smells amazing.”

“It’s amazing what I can do with my hands.” He gives me a suggestive wink as we sit on the couch.
