Do I want to? How do I feel about that?
Pushing it away for now, I go back to find out more about her before I commit to a movie night. Even though that sounds like the best introduction if I decide to do this.
Gracie:Does she like school?
Marc:She does, but she has to if she wants to become a doctor when she grows up.
Gracie:A doctor. Wow, that’s cool.
Marc:Yeah, she’s pretty smart. That I know is from me.
Gracie:Tickets on yourself.
Marc:For intelligence, 100 percent.
Gracie:So what did you eat for dinner?
Marc:Eggs, toast, and turkey bacon.
Gracie:At least your appetite returned.
Marc:It did when you texted me.
Gracie:You made that while talking to me.
Marc:Yeah, and ate it too. I’m a master at multitasking.
I chuckle to myself before typing the final text.
Gracie:I better go and get ready for work tomorrow. Thanks for the chat.
Marc:Same. Goodnight,Bellax
That last word makes me smile. He’s back.

I wonder what she is doing. I haven’t heard from her in a couple of days and this week’s meeting was moved by the client, so I won’t see her for another couple of days.
Bored and lonely, I pick up my phone to text her.
Marc:What are you doing?
Gracie:WatchingReal Housewiveson TV, why?
Marc:No particular reason. I’m just bored and thinking of you.
Gracie:You bored? Don’t you have a business to run?
Marc:It’s out of hours now.
Gracie:Still, I thought you never took time off.
Marc:I do at night. And when Aria comes.
