“We can give Callaghan a choice between the two,” Andy says. “Both have good sight lines.”
“Fuck what Callaghan wants,” Andrian spits as he gestures to Lev to pour him more vodka. “If he wants his little slut back, he will have to agree to our terms.”
“We can monitor entry points better at the warehouse, but we can hide our secondary better on the island.”
A broad grin spreads across Andrian’s face. “Yes, I like the surprise. First, exchange. Then we kill fucking bastard.”
“No one messes with us,” Andy confirms.
Andy goes over the timing, who we will bring into the exchange and who will comprise the secondary, and contingencies if Callaghan tries to pull something. I’ve already heard and approved Andy’s plans, but one thing I didn’t consider earlier was the fact that Casey will likely be with her father when we riddle him with bullets.
“Is good,” Andrian says of Andy’s plan. He checks his Rolex. “Is not too late to call Callaghan.”
“We call him tomorrow,” I say, “when we’re ready to move. Calling him tonight will just give him more time to plan.”
Leaving Andy to wrap up the details involving Andrian’s men, I head to the kitchen, where I get more water for Casey and head back downstairs.
Sitting on the floor, she leans with her eyes closed against the bedframe. I squat down before her to remove the dildo-gag.
“I thought you weren’t going to come back till the morning,” she says.
I uncuff her, then hand her the water.
“You want anything else to drink? Something to eat?” I ask.
She shakes her head.
“What did you think of the electroplay?”
“Intense.”
“Did you want to use your safeword?”
“Hell, yes!”
“Would you want to do more electroplay?”
She thinks for a moment. “Yes. But maybe not the cattle prod. That thing is frightening.”
Imagining what else I can do with Casey warms my body. I stand up and give her a hand to her feet.
She sits on the bed to finish her water, then looks at me carefully. “Was it your plan all along to invite your friend Andrian over?”
“No.”
“So he was just in the neighborhood?”
“Something like that.”
“I didn’t know you were fluent in Russian.”
“There’s a lot you don’t know about me, princess.”
Her tone is serious. “Yeah, I’m getting that. Did your friend call you ‘Kai?’”
“That’s the name I grew up with.”
“But you’re called Jack now?”
