I don’t think I blink during the entire short drive to the park. It’s so beautiful here. So many colors. The trees and birds are the prettiest I’ve ever seen.

When we reach the park, I’m bursting with excitement. It looks a lot like a playground on Earth except everything is sized for adult Littles. I’m swinging my legs in anticipation as Papi turns off the duocruiser and unfastens my restraints.

He chuckles. “I know you’re excited, Little one, but please be mindful of Papi’s heart condition.”

I shoot him a sassy glare. “You don’t have a heart condition, Papi.”

“I didn’t until I met you. Now my heart skips a beat every time you do something dangerous,” he teases.

“It’s a park. I won’t get hurt.”

He tips my chin back and meets my gaze before lifting me out of the seat. “You won’t get hurt because you’ll obey Papi’s rules, understood?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Look,” Livy calls out as Papi finally sets me on my feet. “Sophie’s here.” She points across the park to a woman with adorable blond hair who is skipping toward us.

“Be good,” Chadka orders as he releases Livy.

I glance at Papi again to make sure it’s okay for me to walk away. He lifts my fingers to his lips and kisses them. That’s never a good sign. It’s usually followed by a prick which makes my libido jump to attention.

“Papi,” I complain, trying to tug my hand free.

“I’m going to let you go play in a second, Baby girl. First, I want to remind you who you belong to.” As expected, he pricks not one, but two of my fingers.

I whimper. Darn. Now I’m going to be all hot and bothered.

“That will help you understand what I mean when I say that it physically hurts to be parted from me.”

My bottom lip trembles. “Are you going to leave me here?”

He nods. “Just for a few minutes. Chadka and Sophie’s Papi, Ekert, will keep a close eye on you.”

I open my mouth and consider begging him to stay. My heart is beating faster at the idea of him being out of my sight. It’s unnerving.

“I’ll be back before you know it.” He kisses my lips again and then climbs back into his duocruiser.

Livy turns back to me and takes my hand. “Come on. You have to meet Sophie.”

I watch as Papi pulls away, and Livy has to give a tug to get me to join her.

Sophie skips toward us, and we meet her halfway across the grassy area heading for the playground. She has a sweet smile, and she holds out a hand. “Hi, I’m Sophie.”

I take her hand in mine, but it’s hard to focus. I’m thinking about Papi and wondering where he went. “I’m Janie.” I lower my gaze to her nipples. She has the most beautiful diamonds hanging from her hoops. “I love your piercings,” I tell her, not certain if that’s proper etiquette or not.

She beams. “Thank you. My Papi is the jeweler. Did Livy tell you that?”

Livy shakes her head. “I haven’t told her yet.”

Sophie grins wide and leans in conspiratorially even though no one is close enough to hear us. I know because I watched as Chadka took a seat on a bench next to another man I assume is Sophie’s Papi.

Sophie cups her mouth anyway. “Your Papi talked to my Papi and told him your favorite color is purple, so I picked out the most beautiful amethyst nipple rings for you. I mean we have others if you don’t like them, of course.”

Livy giggles. “Sophie’s being modest. She has an eye for jewelry. If she picked them out, they are the best ones on the planet.”

Livy’s garnets are jiggling as she bounces. So are Sophie’s. Neither woman seems to mind that they’re wearing nothing but a diaper and nipple rings. It calms me a bit, but it’s still so very foreign.

I smile at Sophie. “I’m sure they’re perfect. When do I get them? Do you know?”
