“Surgient needs to assess your health to make sure you’re cleared to travel, and then we’ll schedule our departure to Eleadia.”

I gasp. That seems so soon. “How long does it take to get there?”

“Six months.”

My eyes bug out. “That’s a long time.”

He smiles. “You won’t know it. You’ll be in stasis during the voyage. I’ll be awake taking care of you.”

“Oh. How boring for you.”

“It is a challenge. I’ve heard other males from my planet were beside themselves waiting to arrive and bring their Little girls out of stasis. Most of the time, our males barely have a chance to get to know their Little one at all before departing.”

I swallow. He knows a lot about me. I fear I revealed more than I would have preferred while I was feverish.

“I’ve made arrangements for John to go to your apartment and retrieve a few things. If you make a list, he’ll do that today.”

I smile and sit up straight. “Really?”

“Yes. We can’t take much, but you mentioned the earrings Olivia would like to have. Perhaps you’d like him to retrieve the amethyst pair you mentioned too.”

“I’d like that.”

“Anything else?”

I sigh. “I guess I won’t be needing my vibrator.”

He chuckles. “Definitely not. Your body is so aligned with mine already, I bet I could breathe on you and make you come.”

I shiver. He’s right. My hands slide to my chest to cup my breasts, but Papi tugs them away.

“Your nipples are incredibly sensitive, Baby girl. Stop touching them.” He narrows his gaze. “I would love to know what you were dreaming about while you were so feverish though.”

I wince and shake my head.

He laughs. I love the sound of his deep rumble. “I have a suspicion. If you won’t tell me, I’m going to have to guess.”

My face heats, which isn’t fair because with my pale skin, I can’t hide my reactions.

“I know the practice of pampering, cuddling, and spoiling Little girls isn’t common on your planet, but I have heard that some of your adult females privately enjoy being coddled by a Daddy figure. Are you perhaps one of them?”

I suck in a breath and hold it, jerking my gaze away. I’ve never admitted something like that to a living soul. Not even Livy. Not even myself really. Just because I enjoy reading stories that feature Littles doesn’t mean Iamone.

Papi lifts one of my hands to his cheek and rubs my knuckles against his smooth dark skin. “You adjusted better than most females to the pacifier and bottles. Even the diapers. Your opposition isn’t very strong,” he points out gently. “But what really caught my attention was how very Little you became when you were feverish. The only word you uttered wastitties, Baby girl. That’s not a word that accidentally comes to mind unless you have a buried Little inside you. Someone you’ve explored enough for that kind of vocabulary to be in your subconscious.”

“I’ve read books,” I admit barely above a whisper.

“Does that embarrass you, Little one?”

I shrug. “It’s not commonly acceptable here.”

“Well, it’s accepted and expected where I come from. Every female is pampered with no exceptions. If that’s a lifestyle you’ve explored or coveted, you’re going to love your new life and transition with ease.”

“I’m scared,” I mutter.

“I know you are, Baby girl. That’s expected. I’d be worried if you weren’t.”

I lift my gaze to his and swallow. “Can you have John get something else for me while he’s there?” My request might make John think I’m weird, but why should I care? I’ll never see him again.
