She was nervous, which I couldn’t blame her. Not that many girls, especially from her background, had ever considered having sex with five men at the same time. It wasn’t like she had some how-to guide to explain how that worked. Any smart woman would hesitate.

I dragged my thumb across her soft bottom lip and for once, my incubus didn’t bother me. Even as I felt it inside me and its need for her, I didn’t try to hide or restrain it. It felt as ravenous for her as I was, and since I’d let it have her, since that time I’d given up resisting, it hadn’t cared to care about anyone else. It seemed that siren had even hypnotized and beguiled my incubus.

“You don’t need to be afraid,” I whispered to her. “No one here would ever hurt you.”

She nodded, so quick to accept my words, to trust us. It humbled me, reminded me again just why I’d fallen so hard for her.

I grasped her hand in mine, astounded by how small it felt, how fragile, then tugged her into the living room. While I preferred beds, we couldn’t all fit in any of the ones here.

Wade seemed to get the point, because he grabbed cushions from the couches while Deacon and Brax shoved the furniture out of the way. It only took a few moments to clear the center of the living room, and the pillows Wade had thrown down made it look rather welcoming.

Or so I thought until Brax frowned. “I don’t like this.”

Hera hesitated, looking toward him. I couldfeelher worries, her fear that she’d make one of us feel bad, that we wouldn’t feel as important as the other. It was a lot for anyone to juggle.

Except, Brax snorted. “You deserve a hell of a lot more than getting fucked on the floor,” he muttered.

Which was about the last thing I expected to hear from my brother. Who would have figured him for a romantic? It was enough to get a chuckle from me, one he returned with a glare.

Hera’s anxiety evaporated beneath a smile as she moved past me and to Brax. She didn’t touch him, but her hands moved as she signed.“I don’t care about that. Where we are doesn’t matter to me. It never has. All I care about is that you’re here.”

Except Brax didn’t look all that ready to accept her opinion. “The problem is that you don’t understand what you deserve. You don’t ask for enough from other people.”

“Are you turning me down then?”She asked that like a challenge.

And Brax had never been one to back down, so he caught her with an arm behind her and pulled her against him. She gasped, but he didn’t release her, didn’t apologize. Instead, he stared down at her as if to make sure she understood him perfectly. “You should know me better than that, songbird. I’m not about to turn you down. If you’ll have me, I’m here.”

The words meant so much more than I’d bet Hera realized. After Brax had spent so long looking after me, after giving up so much, he was offering himself happily to Hera. That meant everything.

Hera wrapped her arms around Brax and went up to her toes, letting him lean down to kiss her. The kiss said everything the two of them were horrible at saying. It was deep, full of feeling, and Hera grasped Brax as if afraid he’d slip away.

Not that Brax seemed willing to passively accept it. He kissed her back, returning every ounce of passion she’d given to him. He reached between them, sliding his hands between their bodies, only to grasp the edges of her robe and pull it apart.

If Hera cared, if she was self-conscious, she didn’t show it. She didn’t fight him as he moved the fabric down her arms. It fluttered to the ground, forgotten, and gave me a view of her naked back.

And I couldn’t ever forget or ignore that view. Her skin was still the same sun-kissed hue, even though she didn’t get a lot of sun. Darker spots—both freckles and moles—dotted her and made me want to kiss each one, to count them all and commit them to memory.

And why the hell not do it?

I leaned in and pressed my lips to one mark on her shoulder blade, rewarded by her shivering at the contact.

Brax broke the kiss to look at me, and a smirk of mine made him roll his eyes.

It didn’t matter what happened, we’d always be brothers, always trying to show each other up. It seemed this was no different.

I ran my hand along her softness, teasing where her waist dipped in then the delicious curve of her ass. Hera had a body that deserved worship, and I had no problem devoting myself to it and to her.

I dropped to my knees behind her, offering one quick bite to her left ass cheek that I hoped would leave a mark.

And Brax took that chance to turn her, to face her toward me, putting me eye-level to her stomach. I offered more kisses there, making my way down over her smooth mound as I slid my hands up her shapely thighs. Each part of her excited me more, made my mouth salivate for a taste.

And I didn’t think there was any damned reason not to let myself have it.

I used my fingers to spread her open, to pull the hood of her clit out of the way, then swiped my tongue along that sensitive bundle ruthlessly.

Hera jerked backward, but a wrapped arm by Brax kept her still. He pressed his lips to her ear, then whispered so softly I almost couldn’t hear above her harsh breathing.“Stay still and let him.”

Hera shivered—no, it was more than that, it was like a full-body tremor. Even so, she seemed to try to obey even as each muscle twitched.
