“Sorry, I guess it’s too soon to joke about that,” he said, pulling me in tight for a cuddle.
“I know you’re joking,” I sighed. “Sometimes I have nightmares about it. The thought of being helpless. For my whole life, my parents protected me from everything.”
“I’m sorry,” said Sam. “Sometimes I wish I stood up more that day. The first day when we gave you to the Lustfur Pack.”
“I don’t blame you, Sam,” I said quickly, turning on my side to face him. I rubbed his muscular forearm, covered in black hair. “I don’t blame anyone anymore.”
Sam kissed me softly. His knot was beginning to go down.
“The pack is waiting for us,” he said. “Are you ready to see them now?”
“I am,” I said, feeling much better after Sam’s lightheartedness and the mind-blowing fuck we just had.
After getting cleaned up in the bathroom, I met Sam back in the bedroom, his pants on and belt buckled.
We walked out of the backdoor, and I saw rose petals all over the ground leading into a trail to the backyard. I gasped at the sight ahead of us.
“What’s going on?” I asked. My nose was still stuffy from all my crying.
There were strings of little lights surrounding the backyard, illuminating the night.
Tony was sitting in a chair in the middle of the backyard, holding a guitar across his lap. Grant and Wesley stood on either side of him. Wesley smiled hugely upon seeing me.
Tony started to play the guitar, and Sam hurried to bring me a chair. At first, I was confused, but then my heart began to warm as he played the guitar, singing a song for me.
Tears sprang to my eyes that they would do all this for me.
“Ever since you came into our lives Miss Tiana
You lit our world and knocked off Sam’s bandana.
More than you ever know. More than we ever dreamt.
You belong with our pack. Make no mistake.
So tonight we have a special question…”
I didn’t know what to feel. I was overwhelmed and also touched. I couldn't believe Tony wrote a song just for me.
My heart was beating fast as Grant walked over to me.
I tried to stand, but Sam gently pushed me down. What was happening?
“Tiana, I’m sorry for the way I spoke to you. Please forgive me,” Grant started, then he knelt, holding a box out in his hand. “I want to mark you and claim you as ours. I know this is fast, but I’m falling for you, Tiana. Can you forgive me?”
I thought about it for a moment. His eyes conveyed honesty, and his gaze powerful. My inner omega energy desperately wanted peace with this alpha male.
“Yes,” I said softly, my heart nearly bursting.
Then he popped the box open, and I gasped. It was a large diamond ring with four stones.
“Each stone symbolizes each of us,” he said. “Will you be ours after tonight? For me to mark you and claim you?”
I was scared of what that meant. They had told me that when a pack claimed an omega, it was commitment forever. After the actual marking happens, the omega would desire to do whatever the alphas wanted to make him happy, and vice versa.
I would be theirs forever.
But I knew I didn’t want to be separated from them.
