Alice watched as her husband sauntered down the aisle, giving their guests high-fives and other kinds of greetings. He looked so damn good in his suit that Alice couldn’t wait for them to be back home and all alone. Her heart melted when he stopped to snuggle Louisa, choosing to keep her in his arms.
Up ahead, sitting at the piano, Portia gave her the thumbs up before nodding to Lou, who stood behind a pulpit. There was no reason why the demonic bartender couldn’t preside over the ceremony again, given that he had done such a good job with the first one.
Of course, both Portia and Lou were so excited that Alice and Cooper had decided to host their vow renewal in the very same place where they had met.
It meant a whole lot to everyone involved.
After exchanging some meaningful glances that would no doubt result in some giggles later, Alice gave Portia the signal, and the succubus began playing the bridal march. Alice took a deep breath, lifted her chin, squared off her shoulders, and smiled brightly.
Cooper was grinning at her with his eyes glued to her, the baby now in John’s arms. Alice’s dress clung to her curves, and though it was her dream dress, it was clear her husband had his own kind of dreams about the garment. She didn’t even try to stop herself from laughing.
She was happy.
Finally,…purely…happy, and nothing would change that. The lone witch had found her place, and it was wherever her new family was.
The End
