I sighed. “It’s not that I don’t want to.” I caught sight of King’s face and my head fell back with a groan. “Fine. I’ll go.”
King grinned. “There’s my fighter. It won’t be that bad. You get to wear a new outfit, have me as a date—” his voice dropped to a whisper “—and I’m sure we can find a dark corner somewhere, just me and you.”
I gave King a kiss. “What more could I want than that? I love you.”
“Love you back, sweetheart.”
“Me too!” Zoe pouted her lips for a kiss. “Wuv you too, Bwi-are.”
My heart melted. Between the two of them, I had everything I’d ever wanted in my life. And I wouldn’t ever regret fighting for King. Or his little princess, Zoe.

St. Clair’s stunning ring has a three-carat round cut blue sapphire in the center with ten smaller diamonds surrounding it in a halo style. The platinum band features delicate leaf vine filigree.

“The ring is very reminiscent of the one Prince Xavier of Monacogave Princess Vivian of York in 1983,” celebrity journalist, Tinsley Griffin commented. “Except the ring Kingston Grier chose is much more modern with the round cut center stone. And yet, it has that antique hallmark with the filigree band. Truly classy.”
Designed by the one and onlyIlan Ice—jewelry designer to the stars who also made the engagement ring for Kingston’s brother, Roman Grier last year.
Despite walking the red carpet, Grier and St. Clair did not answer any questions about the pictures leaked yesterday or their upcoming nuptials.
But judging by their carefree smiles, they’ve already put the scandal behind them and are looking forward to their future. Wedding bells, and dare we say, the pitter patter of more little feet? The A-line skirt of St. Clair’s dress left much to the imagination.
Stay tuned…

King
Two Years Later
After years—over a decade really—of running around to the studio’s timetable, it was weird to be home with literally nothing to do. I mean, I knew how to relax; I’d been on vacation before. But to have weeks and weeks in my future with very little on my calendar? This wasn’t normal.
I needed a hobby.
Or maybe I should start a charity. I needed something to keep me busy and make my life worthwhile now that I’d scaled back my schedule. Instead of the four to five movies a year, I was down to one, with some light voice over work on the side.
And I didn’t even have Zoe to keep me occupied. She went to preschool three days a week, leaving me home all alone. And the little stinker loved every minute.
“Kingston! Oh my god! Kingston!” Ice rushed through my veins at Briar’s scream.
I was racing up the stairs before she’d even said my whole name. Ripping open our bedroom door, I froze when I saw my perfectly fine wife standing at the foot of our bed. No blood. No attacker. I just stood there panting as my adrenaline crash left me unable to form a sentence.
“What’s…”Puff. Puff. Puff.“Wrong?”
“Absolutely nothing.” Briar beamed as she stared down at her phone. “We’re getting a daughter. We’ve been approved to adopt Wynter. She’s going to be ours!”
