I stopped and closed my eyes, trying to catch my breath. There wasn’t enough air, no matter how much I sucked in. The world was spinning too fast, and I slipped down the wall hitting the ground hard. The pain was dulled, but I knew I’d be hurting tomorrow if I lived that long.

“Harder, Hawke.”Keegan’s moan echoed around the room as we watched the video of her and Hawke fucking.

“Corpse, you feel so good.” Hawke’s voice was throaty as their bodies clashed together.

By the end of the video, a blurry figure came on screen with a voice changer, making it impossible to identify them. “The kings can’t control one girl. How can they rule over our school? They’ve fallen, and it’s time we stop listening to those who sully themselves with trash.” The screen went black, but the voice kept talking. “Rem Evens is nothing more than a criminal, Hawke Choi is a psych ward patient that should be locked up, Samson Morozov the son of a celebrity, and Luxious Rodell is nothing more than a dying king. His family is losing money and power. Why should we listen to worthless kings?”

The video clicked off, and the message read the end of the kings. Luxious was stone still, his face impassive. It was like looking at a calm sea before the storm. I normally was all for Luxious losing a bit of his tightness but right now he might lose it entirely.

“Where the fuck did it come from?” His words hid none of the hostility he was attempting to mask.

Mac cleared his throat. “I have an idea, but there is no concrete answer. I’ve even tracked down the IP, but either they thought ahead, or you’re facing someone who can make themselves invisible.”

Luxious turned on Hawke, pulled out his gun, and pressed against his forehead. Hawke’s face was void of his regular smile, especially when faced with death.

“Why the hell didn’t you check the room first?”

“It was my mistake,” Hawke said.

Shit. I stood up and got between them. If Luxious lost it, he would kill Hawke. From what I could tell, the crazy bastard wasn’t ready to go for the first time.

“It was a slip-up. It won’t happen again,” I said, eyeing Hawke.

“You’re right. It won’t happen again. You’re banned from putting your dick inside her until I say otherwise.”

“What?” Hawke growled. “She’s ours.”

I flinched. Out of all of us, Hawke had attached himself to Keegan the fastest. And from the video spreading around the school, it seemed mutual.

Luxious stepped closer, our bodies pressing together as he stared at Hawke. “You’re lucky I don’t banish you from her entirely. Keep this shit up, and you won’t be allowed to talk to her.”

“Luxious, don’t you think that’s—”

His dark eyes switched to me, pinning me in place. I was used to being stared down by men with hard looks in their gazes. It came with being born into a motorcycle club, but Luxious? There was something off inside of him. Like at any second, he could lose it and burn the world down.

“Am I clear?”

“Fine,” Hawke said.

What is Keegan doing to us?

Samson stood up and moved toward the frozen screen with Keegan and Hawke kissing.

“I need the exact class you were in, Hawke, and time.” Samson had his phone out, already digging into it.

“Mac, who do you believe had a hand in it?” Luxious asked. He stepped back and rolled his shoulders.

“I brought them here.” Mac turned and opened the door to another room adjacent to his.

“Why are you doing this, pres?” I asked, walking past him. I understood that we had a beneficial partnership, but he owed us nothing. We would have found the video sooner or later.

“Keegan and I are friends, and this will make things at school worse for her.”

“She called you about it?” I asked.

He shook his head. “I haven’t heard from her yet. I’m surprised. It was sent to the entire student body except you four.”

Luxious’s fist slammed into the wall a picture frame of an award cracked to the ground and shattered. Mac glanced his way but said nothing as we walked further into the room. A single chair was in the middle of the room, and all other furniture was pushed up against the wall. Books upon books lined the shelves.Leave it to the pres to be a huge nerd.
