Kissing back with all the passion she had unwittingly banked for the past three and a half months, Annette shrugged out of her cardy before grabbing his hair and holding him in place for the kiss to go on and on and on.

He growled against her lips as he cupped her bottom with both hands, pulling her up his body so his sex aligned with the apex of her thighs. Annette wrapped her legs around him, rubbing herself against his hardness.

Oh, how she'd missed this. And no way was it all about sex.

Not when neither of them could manage satisfying sex with anyone else.

But that was a thought for another time. Annette's body felt on fire with need to be touched, every nerve ending sparking the conflagration of need inside her.

She felt their bodies moving and then her back hit the familiar support of her bed. Only everything else about this was unfamiliar. Having a masculine body above her, rutting between her thighs even though they were both still fully clothed.

It took bare moments for that to change as they both threw their clothes off with abandon, needing to get to skin on skin.

He knelt above her, his hard honed body leashed with power, sexual need emanating off him in electric waves that connected to her body, creating a sexual current between them that only seemed to get more intense second by second. His sex jutted from his body, already glistening at the tip.

"You are so beautiful," he said, his gaze traveling all over her like the sexiest caress.

But she shook her head. "No, that's you."

His laugh was strained. "Always arguing with me."

"You wouldn't want things too easy." Though she was about to make things very easy for him. Or maybe very good. Easy wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

"No, if I wanted easy, I never would have fixed my sights on you, Annette."

She begged to differ. Five years ago. She'd been very accommodating. Until she wasn't.

Maybe not so easy after all.

"Right now, I want you to fix something."

"What is that?" he asked, cupping her breasts, kneading them and playing with her nipples in the way he knew drive her wild with need.

She told him, in intimate detail. One thing their video sex chats had done for Annette was obliterate her shyness about speaking her sexual needs aloud. It had made cybersex more intense and she realized from his ferocious reaction, it was going to do the same for in person intimacy.

When he stopped to don a condom saying, "If you are not pregnant, now is not the time to make decisions like this," she was filled with another feeling all together. Love.

He was taking care of her, and she had to admit that he always had. If sometimes in a very high-handed way theywouldhave to talk about if she were pregnant and he thought that meant fulfilling the plans that she'd leveled five years ago.

He entered her and she surged upward to meet him, needing this connection to the very core of her being.

They made love, their passion building along with a certainty inside of Annette.

She was always going to want this man. If she was pregnant, they were going to have to find a way to make it work between them because shewastoo easy for this man.

Annette's climax hit her without warning and she screamed her pleasure even as Carlo found his own release, his shout ringing in her ears.

Later, cuddled into his body, the covers over them rather than under them, Annette said, "Well, even if no one saw you come into my room, everyone who lives here knows you've been in my bed now."

"Pamina and Mrs. Banning are the only staff that lives in." Carlo said it like it made all the difference that only two people and not twenty knew they'd just had sex.

"Mrs. Banning is the only one that matters. She'll tell Joyce for sure."

"I do not think so. She's an imminently respectable housekeeper. She wouldn't gossip about the household."

"First, respectability has nothing to do with it. Second, what era do you think we live in?" Though she wasn't convinced that staff had gossiped any less in past eras than they did now. "She and Joyce are friends. She'll tell her for sure."

He shifted so he was on his side looking at her in the shadowed moonlight. "Does that bother you?"
