I narrow my eyes on him and stare at his lips.
He grins again.
Damn him.
“This changes absolutelynothing.”
He nods, takes my beer out of my hand, and sets it aside. “Agreed.”
“We tell no one.”
“Also agreed.”
“And it happens exactlyonce.”
“Now, that, I can’t guarantee.” He rocks back on his heels. “Let’s call it onenight.”
I feel my eyebrows climb in surprise. “Oh, it’s like that, is it?”
“Yeah, it’s like that. You in or not?”
Against my better judgment, I grab my purse. “I’m in. Damn it.”
