“You’re so soft and sweet.”

That made heat creep across my skin. I was soft. Curvy. The opposite of the women most athletes dated. The mention of my curves had me tensing.

“What’s this? What just happened?” he asked, continuing to kiss a line up my neck.

His palm left my breast and trailed down to my belly, a place I’d always been self-conscious of. Again, I flinched, grabbing his hand and trying to keep him from touching me there.

“Tink... are you trying to hide your gorgeous fucking curves from me?”

“They’re not gorgeous.”

He rolled me over so I was facing him. God, the man was so handsome I could barely breathe. He stared me down, eyes filled with intense hunger. “You are the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen. All of you. Your curves, your smart mouth, the freckles across the bridge of your nose. All of you.”

Fuck. Tears burned in my eyes. Was this cocky puck boy making me cry with his sweet words?

I sat up. “Stop it, Taylor.”

He followed. “Stop what? Telling you the truth? If you can’t see how stunning you are, you need someone to do it for you.”

“I don’t look like them.”

His brows pulled together. “Them? Who is them?”

“The women you date.”

Lips pressed into a tight line, he waited for me to elaborate.

“I looked you up. You date models and actresses. Not full-figured bakers.”

“And I haven’t spent more than a night with any of them, Becca. But you? There’s something special about you.” A spark of fear flickered in his gaze. “Fuck. There is. Nothing has ever felt as real as this.”

I bit my lower lip. “Taylor.”

“Don’t tell me no, Becca. I can’t take it if you do.”

Whatever happened after this, I couldn’t say no now. Not when I felt the same sense of rightness he did. It might’ve all been an act, but I didn’t give a single fuck. Right now, Taylor and I were here, together, and I would be real for him. I’d give him everything until I woke up and the dream faded into reality.

“I’m not saying no.”

“Thank fuck.”

TAYLOR

God, but she was a beauty in every sense of the word. Everything about Becca Barnes, except for her choice of lip gloss, was beautiful. There was nothing more perfect in this world than waking up with her in my bed, except maybe being inside her. That might be the best thing I could think of.

“I’m not saying no.” Her whisper made my cock jerk, a deep ache building in my balls.

“Thank fuck.”

Leaning in, I stopped myself before I gave in and kissed her. She must’ve seen my hesitancy because she smiled.

“I washed it off my lips and tossed the deadly gloss in the garbage at the hospital.”

I kissed her long and slow, savoring her, drinking in the soft little noises she made as my hips fit into the cradle of her thighs and I rocked against her.

“Why are we wearing so many clothes?” I groaned, my fingers trailing down her body until I found the hem of her shirt. “I want to feel your skin. It’s so soft. So silky.”

She kissed the tender spot just under my ear. Her small hitched gasps in response to my touches had me rolling my hips, grinding against her.
