“Now that everyone’s here, and we’re all fed, do you have any other burning questions?” Darrell asks.
“Yes and No. I’m not sure if I want to be overwhelmed with all the answers,” I say, running my fingers over the table. “But, one question I have is-'' I pause, do I want to know the answer to this? I let out a long breath as they all stare at me. “This whole mating thing. Is it your one goal to impregnate me? I’m not ready to have a baby.”
“There are ways around that.” Dash waggles his eyebrows.
“Huh?” I want to know the answer so I don’t have to have a baby during my second heat.
“He’s talking about anal,” Mitch says quickly. I gasp. No fucking way. If they think they’re getting anywhere near my ass with the size of their dicks, they’re fucking nuts.
“Not just anal. There are herbs you could take to help prevent a pregnancy, but they aren’t guaranteed. The reason you have a heat is to have children.” Darrell lets out a small chuckle.
“I don’t want any. Not for a while,” I tell them. “This is me putting my foot down. I know my heat is coming again. I don’t want to have a baby so young.”
“I’ll get some today while I’m out,” Darrell says. “I have an errand to run later, someone called for my service.” I think back to the call he had when I went to the bathroom, Neill. I look over at him, curious about his job now.
“We have to get to school, we’ve missed too much,” Colson says, stretching in his chair.
“Yeah, not that I want to go.” Dash nods, running his fingers through his hair.
“I can get Ronni enrolled in online classes. I’ll contact the school after I get back. But she cannot return to the school,” Darrell adds.
“She can hang out with me today,” Mitch says.
“What's your plan then?” Darrell eyes Mitch, almost like a warning. I feel weird having them all talk about me like I’m not here.
“Watch a movie? Take a nap? Who knows.” Mitch lets out a laugh as he stands up from the table. “Come on, sweetheart, we have a day of nothingness ahead of us.” I take his hand as he walks around to my side of the table. Doing nothing cuddled into Mitch’s arms sounds glorious right now, very non-mind boggling.
“Are you okay with this?” Darrell asks as Dash and Colson get up, leaving to get ready for school. I’m slightly jealous that they get to leave the house, but like I said, doing nothing sounds wonderful.
“Since when did my opinion on anything matter?” I ask, walking away with Mitch. I feel the daggers from Darrell's eyes in the back of my head, especially when he lets off a growl.
“You’d be better off to not poke the bear with him,” Mitch warns as he lifts me off the ground, throwing me over his shoulder.
“Yes, but what’s the fun in that?” I giggle as he carries me upstairs. He tosses me on my bed with a bounce. “How are we gonna watch a movie in here?” I ask.
“I’m thinking of taking a nap first,” he says, stretching out beside me on my bed.
“We just woke up, I say, pushing up on my elbow.
“Ah, that's the beauty in not having anywhere to go, sweetheart. We can do whatever we want.” Mitch pulls me to him, tucking me into his arms. He takes a deep breath and releases a large yawn. “So sleep and enjoy before commander Darrell gets back and sets you up with online classes.”
“Lolli?” I hear Colson call my name. I turn my head, watching him walk into my room. “I just want to kiss you so I can taste you all day.” I smile, feeling my face blush as he leans over Mitch to reach me. His lips press to mine, and I open for him, letting him invade my mouth, tasting me completely as I taste him.
“Enough,” Dash says, climbing into the bed next to me. “It’s going to suck not being able to see you all day,” he says, tracing my lips with his fingers after Colson stands back up.
My breath hitches as he leans over to kiss me. His kiss consumes me. Opening me to a different experience, he tastes like mint. My head fills with a daze when he breaks the kiss. “Get to school,” Mitch tells them. “Get educated.” He laughs as he pulls me closer to him. “Let us sleep.” I wave goodbye to Dash and Col as they leave.
“Sleep well, sweetheart,” Mitch says, lifting my chin so he can see me better. I reach an arm over his chest, snuggling in close to him. He places a kiss on my nose, then tucks me in tight.
I listen to his breathing as it slowly evens out, alerting me that he’s fallen asleep. My eyes feel heavy after a few minutes of listening to him. Closing them, I let the rhythm of his breathing and heartbeat lull me to sleep.
I’m jerked awake by a sharp pain in my stomach, and the feel of a gush between my legs. An overwhelming heat takes over, burning through me like a wildfire after months of no rain. I pull myself out of Mitch’s arms, releasing a snarl of my own. He’s on my bed. My nest was built there last time, and I shredded everything I had to make it. But I don’t want to make a mess again.
I barrel out of my room to see if anyone else is home, and I'm greeted with silence. No one is here, and Mitch is asleep. The closet by the bathroom, calls to me. I open it, pulling every towel and sheet out of it. I groan from the pain; I use a hand to rub the ache in my belly, but it’s not what I need.
I start ripping the towels, making my way into the bathroom. The shower curtain is in my way, I growl in anger. I'm frustrated in every way possible. I don’t want to be going through this. I don’t want to be an Omega. I rip the shower curtain from the hooks and throw it into the tub.
My shredded pieces of towel are next, I start layering them around the edge inside the tub. I feel my thighs rub together, there's a warm wetness to it as I feel another gush come from between my legs.
