Kerr caresses the top half of her body with light strokes while Dem handles the lower half, leaving me to contemplate what is next.

Kyra reaches over and rubs my thigh, walking her fingers toward my cock. I know she’s fully back to herself when she smiles and says, “Who’s going to fuck me first?”

I glanced at Dem who shakes his head. He’s right, this encounter has been a lot more awkward than normal. Is that because Kyra is special to us and not just a mutually beneficial good time? Is it because of the way we met—exploding house, psycho stalker, and human trafficking empire? Or is it because of her past trauma and our fear of triggering her?

Perhaps a combination of all three.

“Maybe I should get down on my knees, and the three of you can surround me in a circle?”

Kerr laughs and climbs off the bed, grabbing his slacks and sliding them on.

I sigh and take her hand, pulling her into my lap. “Come here, Cupcake.”

She nestles into my lap, but is looking at Kerr. “Why are you getting dressed?”

“You really have watched a lot of porn, but we aren’t the circle jerk kind of guys.” He walks over and caresses her cheek, flashing her a soft smile.

She bites her lip and looks down. “I… I met Penelope Penshaw at the trial. The DA introduced us, and I started attending her classes. They are so therapeutic, not just from the perspective of learning how to fight and protect myself, but by being immersed in a group of women who were also sad and angry and healing. This one woman, who had a similar brutal story… I remember she was dating. She was in a healthy relationship. So, I asked her how she overcame her negative feelings about sex, because prior to being raped, I thought I had a fairly healthy sex drive. I wasn’t falling into bed with every guy I met, but if I was attracted to him and I thought we’d have a good time, I didn’t shy away from sex. I feel like it is part of a healthy relationship, you know?”

“Anyway, she’s the one that turned me onto porn. She said in some ways it helps desensitize her, and that the images of her attack were somehow muted. Not that she forgot, or forgave, but in her mind, she could compartmentalize what had happened to her away from new relationships. She told me I should focus on the aspects of sex I found pleasing, fantasize about those, and when I’m ready to date, hopefully, I’d have the drive to make all my fantasies a reality.”

“I can’t change what happened that weekend. It happened, and it is what it is. But I didn’t want him to take away the rest of my life in the process. That was his goal—to strip me of everything and break me—and I couldn’t give him that.”

“So yeah, I watch porn.” She looks up at Kerr, almost defiant.

He drops to a knee beside us. “I’m not shaming you, Kitten. I understand getting into a relationship with three men is taboo, and if one of your fantasies is to make a home video, I’m sure one day we can do that, but this is not a porn. This is our lives we’re offering you.”

“I don’t understand what that means.”

I slide my hand into the back of her hair, playing with strands, pulling her attention to me. “It means this isn’t about sex. It’s about becoming a family. It’s about learning how you like your morning coffee, and what side of the bed you sleep on, and how angry you get when you’re hungry.”

“It’s about knowing what movies make you cry, and learning what your favorite foods are, and figuring out new ways to spoil you,” Dem adds as he rubs her back.

“And it’s about sex,” Kerr grins and waggles his brow.

I side-eye him and mutter under my breath, “Dick.”

He laughs. “Come on, she expects that from me.”

Kyra smiles. “I totally do.”

“We are very decisive men and rarely second-guess our decisions. It took no time for us to know you were special, and we wanted to build something with you. I understand this might be overwhelming, but we wouldn’t have brought you here if we weren’t already committed to you.”

“So, this isn’t the playroom you bring all your women to?”

I shake my head. “There’s never been another woman on this bed. This room is yours, when you decide you want it. We’ll furnish it however you like, buy you whatever you want, and give you whatever you need.”

Kyra glances from me, to Kerr, and then to Dem. “You’re serious. This is mine?”

“Yes.”

“And when you told me earlier tonight that if I came home with you, I would never have to work again?” She looks at Kerr.

“I meant every single syllable.”

“Not that you have to quit your jobs in order to be with us, but the option is there,” I say.

“Or you could go back to school,” Kerr adds.
