“I am too.”

He dipped his head and started to make love to her again. His lips and fingers didn’t miss anything. Every crevice and curve was loved by him, leaving his mark on her inside and out.

When he finally crawled back up, he slammed his mouth down on hers and kissed her for the longest time before making space between her thighs and easing into her.

“Oh, God, yes. Please, give me more,” she pleaded.

“I’ll give you everything I have and everything I am. Right now, pet, I’ll give you my whole cock.”

She screamed as he thrust into her cunt. He didn’t stop for her to catch her breath. He went at her, slamming into her repeatedly, and she begged for more.

Her cunt rippled and tightened, and she could feel that she was on the edge. All it took was one thrust, and she was flying.

She vaguely heard and felt him growl and shake above her. He was careful not to put his weight on her as he rested his forehead against the side of her neck.

He tipped them to the side to face each other but kept his cock inside of her.

“I love you, baby.”

“I love you too.”

Chapter Ten

Brenna walked into the kitchen as Roman was hanging up his phone. “Was that about Simone?”

He turned to face her and pulled her into his arms. “No, pet. There’s a problem in town I need to go take care of.”

“That’s okay. I know you still have to take care of things. You’re the alpha.”

“It shouldn’t take long.”

“Take your time. Nicole is here with me.”

He cupped her shoulders and bent to look into her eyes. “I want a promise you won’t go out to the command center without me.”

“I promise.”

He pressed a hard kiss to her lips. “God, I hate leaving you.”

“It’s only for a little bit.”

She watched him walk out and get in his truck. It was amazing how painful it was the farther he got from her. She reminded herself that it was only for a short time.

Nicole came into the kitchen shortly after Roman left.

“Coffee?” Nicole asked.

Brenna laughed and poured her a cup. She knew her friend couldn’t function in the morning until she had at least one cup of caffeine in her system.

“Where’s your hunk?”

Brenna snorted. “He had something to do, but he’ll be back.”

“I’m hungry,” Nicole said.

“They have the best French toast at the diner in town we ate at last night.”

“Yum. Will he get mad if you leave?”
