“I can’t help it, have you seen my husband?”
“I have.” She suggestively raises her eyebrows at me. “Your husband is H O double T, hot.” And she’s right, my husband is the hottest player in the NHL and he’s all mine. There’s no better feeling in the world than waking up beside him each and every morning. Actually, the best feeling is waking with his head between my legs and that magical tongue of his sliding through my folds before thrusting inside of me. Man, I wish I didn’t feel like death warmed up, I could do with a tongue-induced orgasm right about now. I mean, it’s been fourteen hours since his tongue was inside of me, that’s forever in tongue time.
“Aww, thanks, babe,” JJ coos, kissing Lex on the cheek as he hands me a bottle of water. “I think you’re H O double T, sexy as fuck too.”
“Thanks, but for the record, you’re only H O T hot, no double T for you,” she teases him. He fakes being hurt and then the two of them proceed to discuss JJ’s hotness and the hotness ranking of each other.
Unscrewing the water bottle, I take a sip and watch the two of them bicker back and forth. I’m so glad the two of them pulled their fingers out and got over their issues. If two people are meant to be, it’s those two.
Me throwing up again pulls them apart, and just like last time, Lexi rubs my back while my body expels the water I just drank.
“Chels, babe,” Kallen voices, rushing over to me. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” I tell him. Wiping my mouth on the back of my hand, I turn to face him and smile. “That bug from Cleveland is still hanging on and kicking my ass, but YAY, I didn’t vomit during the game.”
“That’s good, hope it’s not anything more serious.”
“Maybe she’s—” JJ’s sentence is cut off when Lexi covers his mouth with her hand.
“… going to be okay,” Lexi says. “I was thinking I’d take her home and you two can meet us there after you wrap things up here.” She pauses. “Maybe also go and have a few drinks with the boys, let Chels and I have some girl time.”
“Thanks, Lex, I appreciate you looking after Chels like that, but as her husband, I should be looking after her.”
“I’m not an invalid,” I add, “I can get from the stadium to home by myself.”
“I know, babe, but I just worry about you.”
“And I’m fine,” I sneer, hoping he can’t tell I want to vomit again.
“Chels, throwing up in the trash can twice isn’t fine,” JJ states. “To appease us, please let Lex look after you and I’ll look after your man.”
“I’m—”
“Please, babe,” Kal says, pulling me into his arms. He slides his around my waist and I drape mine over his shoulders. “For me?”
“Fine,” I relent.
“Thank you.” He places a kiss on the tip of my nose. “Now go home and warm the bed up for me. Then when I get home, we can—”
“LALALALALLALALALA,” JJ singsongs, putting his fingers in his ears. “I don’t need to hear about you two bumping uglies.”
“Why?” Kal asks. “We all heard you and Lex in her treatment room yesterday before training.”
Lexi’s eyes widen and her cheeks darken in embarrassment, meanwhile, JJ grins like the guy who scored … and technically he did. “What can I say? My lady is—” Once again, Lexi covers his mouth.
“Do not finish that sentence, James Jameson …”
“Ohhhhhhh, you just got full named, you’re in trouble now,” Kallen teases and I smack him in the stomach. “What?”
“Be nice, otherwise, there will be no …” But before I can finish that sentence, I throw up again.
“Doesn’t look like you'll be getting any tonight, Jones,” JJ teases him.
“And you won’t be getting any either, Jameson,” Lexi throws back at him. “Come on, Chels, let’s get you home.”
“Thanks, Lex.” I turn to Kal. “Play nice in the press conference and then enjoy your night with the guys.”
“You sure?”
