“And it wasn’t just that I missed seeing you. I was sad — miserable, really — with no interest in going out to meet anyone new.”

When she pauses, Adrian reaches for her hand. He shifts to sit on the coffee table so that she doesn’t have to turn back and forth to see both of us.

“The four of you feel like you were meant for me,” she says, “and I know there are obstacles, but I’d like to be with you, however I can be. If you want me.”

“Oh, Autumn.” I take her other hand. “We’ve had a hole in our lives, too.”

“We weren’t interested in meeting other women either,” Adrian says. “We went out to bars with some of the other guys here a couple of times in the beginning, but we already knew we didn't want to pick anyone up. It didn’t feel right.”

“Really?” She couldn’t look more surprised. “I thought it was just me latching on because I didn’t have much experience.”

“We’ve had enough experience to know when something — someone — is really special,” Adrian tells her, leaning in to kiss her.

“Why didn’t you tell us sooner how you were feeling?” I ask her when they break apart.

She shrugs one shoulder. “I thought the feeling would pass, and I thought things between us were impossible.”

“No, I mean tell us earlier today,” I say, pulling her toward me, preparing to kiss her. “We could have skipped dinner and gotten right into this.”

“You were starving,” she says, laughing, staying inches away from my mouth. “You needed to eat after your long day.”

“Some things are more important than food.”

Trevor and I both kiss Autumn, passing her back and forth between us a couple of times, sharing her like the best friends we are, even though neither of us probably wants to let her go.

When our hands start to get involved as much as our mouths, Duke speaks up. “Why don’t you three go up to the room I booked? There’s a king-sized bed. Garrett and I can stay down here so you can have some alone time.”

We don’t argue, and a few minutes later, we're at his door, key card in hand. Neither of us stopped touching Autumn during the short walk and elevator ride to the room, and all three of us are already worked up as soon as we get inside.

“You’re all I’ve been able to think about,” I tell Autumn as I carry her over to the bed.

“You too,” she says. “Both of you. All of us together.” She’s a combination of giddy with happiness, and frustrated with lust, and it’s a great mix.

“Want us to put a blindfold on you?” Trevor asks her when I lay her on the comforter.

She shakes her head vigorously. “No. I can hardly take my eyes off of you. Take your clothes off, both of you.”

“You’ve gotten a lot bossier than I remember,” Trevor says, grinning at her. “I like it.”

She smiles back at him, but waves her hand at us impatiently. “I mean it.”

“Yes, ma’am,” we both say.

“Any particular order in which you’d like them to come off?” I ask.

“The quickest way possible.” She sits up onto her knees and pulls her own shirt over her head, and I wonder how she expects us to focus on our own task when she's gone and done that.

Seeing us both pause to take in the sight of her in her bra, she waves her hands again. “Don’t make me punish you,” she threatens.

“I think we'd both enjoy that a hell of a lot,” Trevor tells her, but we both do as we're told and tug off our shirts.

“Wow, they must be working you hard here,” she says, taking her turn to ogle us. “Your muscles have grown new muscles.”

“The gym is a good place to work out frustrations,” I tell her, as I remove my pants, socks, and underwear.
