“We may have found you out there in the snow, that day,” Lazarus picked up. “But it was that cabin which saved your life.”
“It’s where I fell in love with you,” Dante whispered in her ear.
“And me,” Jericho murmured.
“Me too,” Lazarus agreed. “And it’s where we shared those first intimate moments that made you ours.”
Shyla sniffled and Dante handed her a tissue. She wiped her eyes and blew her nose, then looked at the deed again and her laughter tinkled around the room.
“I was going to say, you couldn’t know how much this means to me,” she said. “But I’m wrong. I can see it means the same to you too. This is the best gift ever.”
She held out her arms to all three men and they enveloped her in their own.
“And yes, I fell in love with all three of you in this cabin. You showed me so many wonderful facets of yourself during those few days,” Shyla declared.
She kissed each of them. “Being stranded with you three was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Like it was meant to be. The worst day of my life, when my very survival hung in the balance, turned out to be the best day of my life. And I wouldn’t have any other way.”
