Snow moaned and jerked her hand away just in time to stave off her orgasm.

Amanda replaced Snow’s hand with hers. “Don’t come,” she warned.

Snow panted heavily as Amanda rubbed on her clit. “Amanda, if you keep doing that, I’m going to come.”

“Don’t you dare come.”

“I can’t help it! Fuck, Amanda, I’m going to come! I’m going to comeright now!”

Amanda pulled her hand away, but it was too late. Snow’s entire body contracted, and her pussy gushed, but there was no pleasure.

It was a strange feeling. Releasing of tension without the accompanying bliss. Snow didn’t like it at all. Amanda had moved her hand off Snow’s clit, and Snow quickly put her own fingers on herself, but her clit was now overly sensitized and didn’t want to be touched.

She had known what a ruined orgasm was from the porn she had read, but she’d never experienced it before.

“Amanda,” Snow whined. “Please.”

“If you’re good, I’ll let you have a proper orgasm later. For now, come and cuddle with me.”

Snow wasn’t going to object to cuddles. They moved the blankets so that they weren’t lying on any wet spots and lay in each other’s arms. Snow pressed her back against Amanda’s chest, sighing contentedly.

In this moment, she had no worries, no responsibilities, nothing but the bliss of being in Amanda’s arms. Everything was perfect, and she never wanted it to end.

Amanda stared at her computer screen, but she wasn’t really seeing it. She was too busy thinking about Snow. She had felt so alive with her yesterday, more alive than she’d felt since Nicole left—not to mention more turned on.

There was something about Snow’s wide eyed obedient innocence in the bedroom that was more seductive than anything else Amanda could imagine.

She wanted to see Snow again. She knew that they needed to define what they were. Were they dating? Girlfriends? Maybe she could ask Snow to come over and discuss it then. Yes, that’s what she should do. She wanted to ask Snow to be her girlfriend. Amanda grinned at the thought.

She sent Snow a quick text, asking if she wanted to come over for dinner. Snow responded almost immediately saying that she’d love to.

Amanda abandoned her pretense at work and grabbed her purse. She wanted to cook a nice dinner for Snow. She’d make it a proper romantic dinner, with roses and candles and everything.

Amanda spent the next few hours preparing a challenging dish.

She was halfway through it when her phone started ringing. She snatched it up, thinking it might be Snow. She looked at the caller ID just in time.

What was Nicole doing calling her?

Amanda didn’t answer. She had no desire to talk to Nicole, especially now, when she was preparing for a date with Snow.

Nicole left a voice message, which Amanda reluctantly opened.

“Amanda, we need to talk. It’s about the divorce. Call me.”

Amanda bristled at Nicole’s tone. Nicole had no right to make demands of her. She had lost that right when she had left Amanda.

Amanda couldn’t wait to get the divorce finalized. She already thought of herself as divorced, but she technically wasn’t yet.

She wondered if she should have told Snow about that technicality before they’d had sex. Would it have made a difference to Snow?

No, probably not, Amanda decided. Snow was easy going, not at all like Nicole. She wouldn’t mind. Amanda’s heart was free, even if she wasn’t completely disentangled from Nicole legally yet.

Amanda didn’t call Nicole back. Whatever it was, Nicole would need to sort it out herself. Their lawyers were handling the divorce. If it was about the divorce, Nicole knew that she needed to have her lawyer contact Amanda’s. Anything else Nicole might have to say to her wasn’t important.

Amanda went back to cooking her chicken dish.
