Amanda spent the rest of the day anticipating her hike with Snow. She took a while to fall asleep that night, as she kept thinking about the next day, wanting to make everything perfect. Snow deserved perfection and Amanda wanted to give it to her.

When Amanda woke the next day, she dressed carefully and got her gear together. At eight o’clock, Snow rang the doorbell. Amanda eagerly hurried to the door and pulled it open.

“Hey. Oh wow, I didn’t know you had so much hiking gear.”

“I didn’t,” Amanda admitted. “I went shopping.”

“That was quite some shopping trip.”

“Let’s just say that the sales attendant was very pleased to meet me.”

Snow chuckled. “I’m sure. Shall we go, then?”

“Yes, let’s.”

They chatted happily on the drive, the time passing quickly. Snow was a fascinating person. She was a free spirit whose creativity knew no bounds. She wasn’t like anyone Amanda had ever met before.

Amanda eyed the scenery nervously as they got out of the car and picked up their bags. Now that she was here, she wasn’t entirely sure that this was a good idea, but she wasn’t going to back out now.

Snow seemed to read the worry off her face. “It’s okay, it’s not far. Thirty minutes tops, I promise. Then we can settle down and have our picnic.”

Amanda felt slightly reassured. She could do 30 minutes walking, surely?

Snow set a slow pace that Amanda could easily keep up with. Sure enough, within half an hour, they were nestled in a beautiful meadow with their picnic stuff spread out around them. Snow had baked muffins and made mini quiches, both of which were utterly delicious. Amanda’s store-bought food just didn’t compare.

Once they were finished eating, Amanda sat with her back leaning against a tree. “Come here.”

She spread her legs and opened her arms. Snow blushed a little but did as Amanda asked, coming to sit with her back pressed up against Amanda’s chest. Amanda wrapped her arms around Snow. It felt so right, sitting like this. She wanted to stay forever.

They stayed there for hours, sometimes talking, sometimes lapsing into comfortable silence. Only when a chilly wind picked up did they decide to leave.

They packed up the picnic stuff, but Amanda paused before putting her backpack on. She put a hand on Snow’s shoulder, turning her so that they were facing each other.

Amanda moved slowly, giving Snow time to pull away if she wanted to. Snow didn’t pull away, and their lips met.

The kiss was light and tentative, but as it went on, Amanda grew bolder. She pressed her lips more firmly against Snow’s and pushed her tongue into Snow’s mouth. Snow opened for her, letting Amanda explore her mouth.

Snow tasted delicious, like the quiche and fruit juice they had had for lunch, and something vaguely minty that Amanda couldn’t fathom the source of. Maybe a mouth wash. Either way, she loved it. Bolts of desire ran through her body. The rush of desire that had been building for so long.

Snow pressed her tongue into Amanda’s mouth in return. They explored each other slowly at first, but with increasing ferocity as the kiss heated up. Amanda’s heart pounded in her chest and she finally had to break away for air.

Panting, she looked into Snow’s lust-darkened eyes. “Come home with me.” She made it clear by her tone that she wasn’t interested in tea or photos this time.

“Yes, please.”

The drive home seemed longer than the drive there. Amanda longed to slip her hand between Snow’s legs and watch her squirm, but she wasn’t irresponsible enough to do that while they were driving.

When they finally got back to Amanda’s house, Amanda led them straight through to the bedroom. The moment they were inside, she pressed Snow against a wall and kissed her roughly with the passion that had been growing in her for weeks.

Snow moaned and returned the kiss passionately, her hands gripping Amanda’s waist.

“Undress,” Amanda ordered.

Snow just kept kissing her, so Amanda took her shoulders and pulled her back a little. “I said, undress.”

Snow blinked up at her, as though not sure whether to comply.

Amanda leaned close, whispering in Snow’s ear. “I want to do filthy things to you, and those things are not going to happen with your clothes on. Now undress, or we end this right here and now.”
