“Allow me my fun. I don’t have any children of my own to spoil.”

Snow’s face softened. “Alright, but nothing too expensive.”

“I make no promises.”

Snow chuckled. “You’re impossible.”

“You like it.”

Snow blushed slightly, taking a sip of her tea to cover her embarrassment.

Amanda wondered how Snow would react if she was bossy in bed. Nicole had never been into that, but Amanda had often wanted to try out a more dominant role sexually.

“Mom, can I play in the fake snow?”

Snow smiled down at Bluebell. “After the photo shoot, if it’s okay with Amanda.”

“Of course it is. We can make Snow angels, how about that?”

“Yay! I love snow angels.”

Snow chuckled. “You know, snow angels would actually make some great pictures. Shall we do those first?”

“Yes, let’s.” Amanda finished her tea and stood up.

Snow stood too, holding her hand out for Bluebell’s cup before putting it in the sink.

Amanda started up the snow machine while Snow set up her camera.

From then on, Snow was in control. Amanda didn’t cede control to other people easily, but Snow knew what she was doing in this area way better than Amanda did. While Snow posed herself and Bluebell, Amanda fantasized about how she might take that control back in the bedroom.

They took photos of Bluebell making snow angels before going back inside and bringing out the Christmas decorations. Amanda hadn’t been planning to put up a Christmas tree this year. It had always been something she’d done with Nicole, and she had thought that it would just make her sad.

This was the opposite of sad. Bluebell chattered happily as she put up various decorations and Snow clicked the camera shutter.

Bluebell posed beautifully. Amanda thought that if the scientist thing didn’t work out for her, she could definitely be a model. Probably that is what happened when you grew up with a mom who loved taking photos all the time. When Snow took Amanda’s arm to lead her into a position with better lighting, it sent pleasurable shivers down Amanda’s spine.

Amanda wanted to kiss her, but she couldn’t bring herself to regret having Bluebell here, even if it meant she didn’t get to kiss Snow. She wasn’t sure how Snow would feel about being kissed in front of her daughter, who would probably be confused by it, so it was best not to do so before discussing it with Snow.

The photoshoot took almost an hour, an hour that Amanda thoroughly enjoyed. When they were done, Snow promised to have the photos ready by the next day.

“You can take longer if you need to. I know you have other clients.”

“It’s okay. I’m looking forward to doing these. Besides, they’re clean shots. I won’t need to do much editing. I’ll have plenty of time for my other stuff.”

“Can you come again tomorrow afternoon? There has been so much interest in the cards that I want to do a number of different shots and take advantage of this while we can.”

Snow beamed. “Of course! I actually have a few ideas. What do you think of having Bluebell pose as an angel under the tree? We can get her little wings and a halo. She’s got a white dress that will be perfect for the shot.”

“That sounds excellent! I’m going to the mall later today anyway, so I can get the wings and halo then. I was also thinking… what if we did one of the two of us kissing under some mistletoe?”

Snow blushed deeply. “I’d like that a lot. I think our audience would, too. I see our photos have been shared by a number of LGBT groups.”

“I saw that as well. I love appealing to an LGBT audience, and this will do that perfectly.”

“Tomorrow afternoon. I’ll see you then, Amanda.”

“See you, Snow.”
