“Alright, let’s get us sitting around the Christmas tree. Bluebell, if you could sit there. Here, take this present and put it on your lap. Amanda, sit like this. I’m going to lean against you, okay?”

“Okay.” Amanda sounded slightly breathless, but she wrapped her arms around Snow as Snow leaned her back against Amanda’s chest. She felt Amanda’s breasts pressing against her back.

Snow gazed at Bluebell, letting all the love for her daughter show on her face. She then turned to Amanda, staring into her forest green eyes and taking a few photos like that.

“How about we do a few outside?” Amanda suggested. “The lighting won’t be as cozy, but it’ll look so beautiful with the snow falling around us.”

“Great idea! Those last photos in the snow did look incredible.”

Amanda leaned down to speak to Bluebell on her level. “Are you warm enough to go outside, sweety? Do you want another jacket?”

Bluebell shook her head. “No, thank you.”

“At least take this scarf. It’ll look lovely on you.”

Amanda took a small cashmere scarf from where it was hanging over the back of a couch. It did look wonderful on Bluebell, the blue matching her eyes perfectly. Bluebell stroked the scarf reverently. “It’s so soft. I’ve never felt anything this soft before.”

Amanda beamed at her. “You can keep it. It looks better on you than on me anyway.”

“Amanda, you don’t have to…”

“I know I don’t have to, but I want to. Consider it my Christmas gift to Bluebell.”

Bluebell squealed in delight and threw her arms around Amanda. “Thank you, Amanda! It’s the best Christmas gift ever. I’ll take such good care of it.”

“I’m sure you will, honey. Now come on, bundle up. Let’s get those outside photos done.” Amanda exchanged a warm smile with Snow before leading the way out onto the Christmas tree farm.

Amanda turned on the snow machine while Snow and Bluebell got settled in front of one of the more impressive Christmas trees. Amanda sat down on the ground with them, letting Snow rest her head against Amanda’s shoulder while Bluebell played in the snow.

They did a few shots like that before Snow brought up her next idea. “There’s one more thing…”

“What is it?”

“You don’t have to do this if you don’t feel comfortable, but I think it would make for a great shot.”

“Out with it, Snow. Your ideas are pure genius. If you think it’ll make a good shot, then we’re doing it.”

“We should pose for a kiss. It doesn’t have to be a real kiss. We’ll just need to have our lips touching for the camera.”

Amanda looked taken aback for only a moment. “That would make a good photo,” she agreed. There was a faint hint of red to her cheeks, but no other outward sigh of discomfort.

“We don’t have to do it…”

“No, I want to. Should we have Bluebell in that shot?”

“I think so. Is it okay if she opens some of those prop presents you have?”

“Of course. The boxes are empty, but I can always rewrap them afterward.”

“Bluebell, honey, won’t you go inside and grab some of those boxes.”

Bluebell, who seemed to think this was all great fun, got up and dashed inside.

Snow carefully arranged herself and Amanda so that they would be in the perfect position for the camera. When Bluebell returned with the boxes, Snow directed her to sit at her and Amanda’s feet and start opening them slowly.

Snow leaned very close to Amanda. “When I give the word, press your lips to mine. Smile and close your eyes.”

“I’m ready,” Amanda breathed.
