He smirked down at me.

I smiled and dropped my gaze to his erection. It was the first time I saw it, and man was it a fine specimen.

I licked my lips and sat up.

“What are you doing?” he asked.

“Shh…” I gripped the shaft of his erection in one hand and slid my tongue along the tip. He shuddered and gripped my shoulders.

“I should probably lay down if you’re going to do that,” he said.

Not wanting to have him take all my fun away, I slid my mouth over his girth as far as I could go. The taste of him was salty and sweet and I couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted to lick up every last bit of his taste and then some.

He groaned as the tips of his fingers dug into my skin. “Oh, Cadence… you truly know how to unravel me.”

I giggled around his dick, encouraged by his words, and continued to suck and stroke him.

A few minutes into it, just when I thought I was getting a good rhythm, Guy forced himself away from me. He pushed me back onto the mattress and slammed his dick into me. I gasped as he filled me completely and started moving inside me.

My orgasm started to build, and my arousal took control of my body. Within minutes, I was crying out my pleasure into the crook of his neck. Not much later, and hot liquid spilled inside me.

Guy grunted and jerked on top of me as his orgasm slowly faded.

When it was over, we laid together on the bed, wrapped in each other’s arms. He kissed my shoulder and breathed in the scent of my hair.

“What is your answer?” he asked, voice low.

I smiled and delighted in the rush of warmth that washed over me. “Yes.”

He squeezed me to him. “I knew it.”

I laughed. Seconds later, he joined in. It was a beautiful start to the rest of our lives. And I was going to face each moment one day at a time.

EPILOGUE: CASSIDY

I had booked myself a weeklong getaway months ago. Though I had intended on going over the summer break, I kept putting off going for one lame reason or another. There just never seemed to be a right time for me to go.

Finally, I decided I wasn’t going to do that anymore. I was running out of time, and though it was in the middle of the school year, I needed the break away from everything. The trip was about to expire, and I would have wasted all the money I had spent on the trip for nothing.

Besides, it was high time I did something for myself. And as a birthday present to me, that was exactly what I did. I almost didn’t make the trip with the holidays rushing in. And my job wasn’t too happy about having to find a substitute for me for so long and on such short notice.

The job would deal. Because I couldn’t afford to not go. And with how late it was in the year, the holiday rush was closing in on all the available rooms and dates the resort had available. Though it looked as though I had waited too long at first, they were graciously able to fit me into their rapidly vanishing rooms.

I refused to put off my trip any longer, and so I packed up my things and headed out the door.

About two hours away from home, I arrived at the Manitou Springs Resort and Spa, got checked into my room, and stood staring at the view from beyond the sliding glass door. I opened the door that faced the mountains and stepped onto the patio. I breathed in the fresh mountain breeze, closed my eyes, and smiled.

“This is exactly what I needed,” I said to myself.

I truly believed my words too.

Fall was setting in, and this time of year was my absolute favorite. The cooler weather prickled my skin and I almost shivered, and the colorful backdrop of nature added to the peacefulness of my little slice of heaven.

The cherry that topped my little getaway birthday “cake” was the fact that my room had a fireplace. I especially looked forward to sitting in front of it later, drinking the champagne sitting on ice on the mantle.

But first, I was going to take my time unpacking my bags as the cool fall air filled my room. Afterward, I sat at the foot of the bed and watched the sun settle behind the mountains in a glorious display.

As soon as the sun fully faded away, I planned to relax in my personal jacuzzi tub, filled to the brim with the complimentary rose scented bath foam. Hell, I might even add in those tiny scented rose petals designed to dissolve in the water.
