She’d liked his emerald eyes and that little bit of gray at the edge of his temples. His smile left her warm and tingly. But she’d also liked Wesley. The man had an air of danger about him and she sensed a strong personality.

How could she ever choose between the two of them?

CHAPTER5

Wesley didn’t know what he wanted. But his cock definitely wanted Pearl. All that red hair falling surrounding his cock while her mouth sucked him off was all he could think about.

“What do you think?” Anthony asked.

“I want to fuck her,” he replied as they walked out of the cafe. “I want to strip her clothes off and grind my cock into her pussy.”

Anthony laughed. “You have to marry her before you can do that.”

He sighed. That was the problem. He would never leave this area if he married her. So he needed to decide and quick. Stay and fight his family or run and begin all over. And yet, Anthony and he worked well together.

The man had helped him when he couldn’t even stand from the beating he received. Sure, he had repaid the older man, but part of him wanted to know what else was out there in the world.

“I’ve got to figure out what I want. I can’t marry her if I’m going to leave,” he said.

“Do you want to go?”

That was the problem. He was uncertain.

“Sometimes I think it would be so much easier if I started over somewhere. And then I look around where I live, the ranch, the cattle, and I know I’m in a great place. So why would I leave?”

Anthony nodded. “When Georgia and I left Missouri, I hated going off and leaving friends and family. But I also knew that I would never be successful there. Our chances of growing wealth were out West. But you have to make your own choices.”

That was one thing he loved about Anthony; the man never pushed him. It was his decision. Though the elder was at least fifteen years older than Wesley, he didn’t act like a father figure, but more of an advisor and good friend. The man listened to him, took his advice, and treated him like an equal. It was why Wesley had never moved on.

And now Wesley feared that if Pearl was the right woman, he would be stuck here.

“Come on, it’s time for the party to start and we don’t want any other man to get to Pearl,” Anthony said. “Tonight will be the night we either choose her or we stay unmarried.”

Wesley hurried toward the house faster. “Agree. Tonight is a big night that will help me make up my mind.”

Anthony smiled at him as they climbed the steps to the house. Opening the door, they walked in to see the men standing around.

Aunt Grace smiled at them. “The ladies will be down in just a couple of minutes, gentlemen. I know you’re all anxious to talk to them more. I’m going to send them down one at a time. Gentlemen on this side of the room, and the ladies will stand on the other side. No rushing toward them.”

Wesley grinned and leaned over to Anthony. “Aunt Grace knows us too well.”

Anthony nodded.

The older woman ascended the stairs, and she called out to the women. As their names were announced, the ladies descended the stairs and stood to the side. It seemed like it took forever for them to call Pearl’s name.

As she came down the stairs, Wesley’s cock sprang to attention. The woman was beautiful, and he got the feeling she might be a spitfire. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she waltzed past them, smiling, and winked at them.

Damn, he wanted to pull her outside, lift her skirts, and sink his cock into her sweet pussy. But that would get him in all kinds of trouble.

Anthony turned to him. “Well?”

“Damn, man, all I can think about is getting beneath her pantaloons.”

Anthony laughed.

Just then the doctor cleared his throat. “Welcome, ladies, we’re so glad you’re here. Tonight is a chance for all of you to get to know one another. The men will tell you who their partner is so that you’ll get to know both of the men at once. You have two weeks to make up your mind before we will have a wedding ceremony right here in the house. You’ll marry one man and the other will be your second husband.”

Wesley grinned at Pearl who stood with wide sapphire eyes and lush lips gaping at the other women chattering amongst themselves.
