“You look gorgeous as always,” he tells me as I walk up to him, returning his smile.

“As do you, my sexy CEO,” I tease in a soft voice, not wanting to give too much to the people that are undoubtedly listening to this conversation. We turn to leave the building and he leads me to his car.

The sun is setting as we drive to the seafood place he mentioned. It’s a lot different from anywhere we’d normally go, but we’ll be seen here. I look down at my outfit and hope it’s enough as we park, glancing up as I feel Kyle’s eyes on me.

“You look amazing. I like that you have your own style and won’t look like every other woman in here.” Kyle leans down to kiss me, and I moan as soon as his lips touch mine. I missed him and press closer as our tongues slide together.

Oh, yeah. My body is ready for another night with Kyle, but first, dinner.

We’re seated, and we order wine as we settle in, talking about the work week. Kyle touches me often, leaning close to me and touching my face a few times as I feel the blush on my cheeks. He is the perfect date, real or fake, and I lose myself in the moments around dinner.

It’s almost enough not to think about the eyes on us, but they’re there. I am the new flavor of the week for Kyle after all his dates, and people want to know about me. They’ll find out soon enough that we’re old friends and dig into my past, but there’s nothing there but hard work and a few casual ex-boyfriends.

“I think this is working out well, Laina.” He leans close to talk, holding my hands on the table once they clear our plates.

“Me, too.” I agree, my eyes locked with his.

“In a few weeks, I think I’d like to turn this into an engagement.” My eyes widen as he smiles at me. “Mom still brings up the dates she wants me to go on. That might get her to drop it. We can do a dinner out and something that people see. It will get the news out there and maybe my family will just leave me alone.”

“Yeah. I would hope so,” I tell him, feeling my heart jump into my throat. It is one thing to go on some dates, but to be engaged is so much bigger. It hurt to think that I’d be saying yes to something that sounds so perfect and wearing a ring to back it up when it was all fake. “Do you know when?”

I need time to prepare for this lie and what it will cause in my life.

“Well, there will be a lot of dates before the big day, but I’m thinking in about six weeks. Whirlwind relationship and all.” Kyle suggests, smiling as the server asks if we’d like anything else. “Just the check, please. Thank you.”

We leave and as he leads me by the hand to his car, Kyle smiles down at me as cameras flash. We reach the car, and he presses me against it for a long kiss, stroking my sides as I moan.

“I thought we could grab something for dessert and take it to my house. Watch a movie or something.” His voice is a whisper, and I smile as I look into his eyes.

“Perfect. Let’s go to the store,” I tell him, leaning up for another very real kiss.

I look around his living room as he lets me into the house first. It’s warm and masculine, with dark couches spread out around a fireplace and an open kitchen towards the back. The walls are a soft cream with bright splashes of color in the artwork found on the walls, along with some family pictures on the mantel.

“Did you do this yourself?” He brought a glass of wine to me from the kitchen.

“I had some help with the art, since that’s not my thing. I picked out the furniture for all the rooms.” Kyle sat down beside me, handing me the wine. “It could probably use some more personality.”

“I like it.” I sip the wine as he takes a long draw from his beer. Kyle’s jacket is gone, and he loosens his tie as I watch, mesmerized. “There’s something about that look that just does something to me.”

“Maybe we should bring the tie into the bedroom and play with that.” Kyle suggests, sending my body into instant want. “I could tie you to the bed and suck ice cream from your nipples.”

Well, that is a jump.

“You want that to happen again?” I ask carefully, looking at Kyle’s face as he smiles.

“I kind of hated that we both worked OT this week, Laina. I would happily sleep beside you instead of catching a couple of hours at the office or alone in my bed.” Kyle leaned down to kiss me after setting his tie beside him on the couch. “We have two nights ahead of us to play catch up.”

“All weekend, Kyle?” I ask, smiling widely.

We started it off with a movie and sharing some ice cream on the couch. Kyle made good on licking it from my body after he stripped me in the living room, his mouth warm after the cold pebbled my nipples into tight points. From there we went to his bed, and he caught up with every part of me in his massive bed, making me come against his tongue as I arched into his mouth.

Kyle also tied me to the headboard, turning me to my knees where he lapped at my pussy lazily, sliding a finger in and out of me. I rocked against him, moaning his name and begging for more before he slides his cock inside of me, burying himself.

“Oh, Kyle. That feels so good.” I rock into him as he grips my hips, stretching me open in the best way possible.

“What do you want me to do, Laina?” Kyle asks in a low growl as I keep wiggling.

“I want you to fuck me, Kyle.” I blush as the words come out, not one for dirty talk before this. “Hard.”
