“You’re needed out front.” I smiled sweetly at his stunned expression. Standing, I brushed off my knees.

“You’re here on a date with someone else, and you sucked my cock in the backroom.”

“That does appear to be what happened.”

He gathered me up in his arms, one of his hands holding my chin tightly. “I know we don’t owe each other anything, but I want you to know I haven’t been with anyone else since the wedding.”

“Ditto.”

Luca exhaled, and I laughed. He was obviously relieved by my lack of extra circular activities. “I’d like to keep it that way. Is that okay with you?”

I paused. “Under one condition.”

“Yes?”

“I get 100% access to your sex genius.”

Luca licked his lower lip, his eyes promising he’d give me exactly what I wanted. “Deal. Get rid of the Greek asshole and find me. I’m taking you home.”

I saluted him, and he slapped my ass. Sticking my tongue out at him, he chuckled as I slipped out of the room.

When I found Dimitri, he was chatting up a slender ginger. His hand lingered just above her ass.

“Hey Dimitri, I think I’m going to head home with Luca.” I smiled at the blushing girl on his arm. “You good?”

Dimitri’s grin should’ve scared the little thing. He was going to devour her. “Yes, ma’am. Claire’s offered to show me to her favorite watering hole.”

He leaned in and gave me a peck on the cheek. His lips grazed my ear as he whispered, “Call me if Moretti fails to deliver.”

I looked him in his cold gray eyes. “Oh, he won’t.”

Dimitri pursed his lips, but he was in no position to say anything. With one more wave, he and his arm candy left the gallery.

I was finally free to claim my prize.

Searching the room for my own tall, dark, and handsome, I found him in the back of the gallery. Luca argued with a slightly older man as a beautiful woman stood between the raging bulls, shrinking into herself.

I joined the tense group, my hand lightly grazing Luca’s shoulder. He turned, his face softening as he placed a kiss on my cheek.“Sasha, this is my cousin Marco.” Marco’s grip was unnecessarily tight when he shook my hand. “And this is my sister-in-law, Adriana.” Her hand was limp as a dead fish.

I put on my “new business” smile. “It’s nice to meet you.”

Adriana smiled, but a tightness in her face kept it from being natural. Marco placed his hand on the small of her back and whispered in her ear.

“Luca, it’s late, and I think we’ve put in enough face time at this thing. I’ve got Maggie closing once the show is over, so I’m going to take Adriana home now. We’ll see you at your parent’sonSunday.”

With a polite nod, the doom and gloom twins left.

I turned to Luca, who looked defeated.

“You own this place?”

He tore his eyes from their retreating backs. “My family does.” He blew out a sharp breath. “Damn. I just wanted Adriana to have fun. You know?”

One hand ran through his hair as he stared at the ground. “Why couldn’t Marco just try? For once?”

Luca looked lost, so I wrapped my arms around him. His body tensed, but then he relaxed, his arms winding around me, his chin resting on top of my head. We swayed side to side with my nose burrowed into his shirt. After a few minutes, his breathing slowed, and I peered up at him. “All better?”

He smiled, pressing himself more into me. “I will be once I get you alone.”
