I always need him. I always will.

“I know, Pretty Monster. I know,” he whispers sweetly along my ear.

The trembling of my body slowly subsides, and I grow lax against him, my gaze lifting to the man still watching me intently from across the room. He holds my gaze like a dare as he continues to stroke himself, his pace quickening as his lips part. Hooded eyes lower in a wanting, tragic look.

I want to touch him. When Malace is around, I have this urge to let him feel everything he’s missed out on for so long.

Especially this.

His groan rumbles through the darkness.

My eyes widen as his cock throbs in his hand. And then slickness sprays across his knuckles as he pumps himself harder and harder.

“You make me fucking crazy, Bellatrix Cuore,” Malace murmurs out as he finishes himself roughly.

It’s then that I realize Ruin isn’t holding me anymore. He shifts from behind me. He shoves me off of him entirely as he stands with a heavy thud as his boots hit the floor.

“Who the fuck are you?”

And then he’s storming directly toward the man standing against my bedroom door. The one with his cock in his hand, and his cum dripping on my floor.

Rage and murderous intent drop into the room at once, and all I can think is: I didn’t even know ghosts could cum...

Chapter Fifteen

“You can see me?”Malace asks with wide eyes while Ruiner lifts him high and slams him down hard, rattling the door and nearly breaking it down in the process.

“I’m gonna fucking kill you, You Cock Cradling Pervert!” Eight legs stretch out deliberately from beneath Ruiner’s sleek, black wings. The points of them lift with intent aimed right at Malace.

“Wait! Wait! Wait!” I’m haphazardly holding the sheet to my body as I run naked across the room. Like an offering to the spider bat gods, I throw myself in front of Malace. “He’s my friend, he’s my friend!” I explain.

Friend—stalker—same thing.

Ruiner’s icy gaze shifts from the man he’s still pinning to the wall to the woman who looks like a small child beating her fists against his broad chest.

“You let yourfriendwatch us?” The sharpness of his canines on either side of his mouth snap out those words, and I can tell his anger is shifting between the both of us.

“I—I didn’t think of it like that. He’s a ghost. He’s always around.” Emotion breaks in my chest when I realize I ruined something special with the one man I trust. I barely breathe the next words out. “I didn’t mean to hurt you, Ruin,” I whisper on a shaking breath.

The violence in his blazing eyes softens. The pretty blue I fall into every time I look into his gaze searches my face. It takes a long moment before he finally lowers the man behind me back to the floor. My fingertips brush against his pecs, lightly skimming the heat of his scar along his shoulder.

“I’m sorry,” I say on the quietest of voices, as if it’s just me and him and no one else.

Just like it always is.

Gentle hands slide around my hips. His head shakes back and forth, and when he looks at me again, his attention lowers. To my lips.

He never kissed me.

He made me cum. He made me forget the cruel man who said those nasty things to me.

And yet... we’ve never even kissed.

“It’s fine,” he says, his rumbling voice like gravel.

“That’s a relief,” Malace says with a soft chuckle.

The hardness returns without delay in Ruiner’s gaze when he glares back at the man still standing behind me. I don’t know how Ruin can see and feel the ghost who’s been my special secrete up until now but the look of death Ruiner’s gaze is more alarming than anything else.
