T’zaren nodded.

“Which means if we’re not going to bond, there’s only one other way to neutralize the effects.”

“What way?” Lucy asked. “Is there some kind of medicine I can take?”

“Not exactly.” T’zaren ran a hand through his hair and blew out a breath.

“Well what can we do then?” Lucy demanded. Her pussy was getting more and more achy and swollen every minute and she was beginning to feel an emptiness inside—like she wanted to be filled with something long and hard and thick.

He’s right!she thought, feeling slightly panicked. My body wants him to breed me—to bond me to him! But we can’t do that, can we? I mean, sure he’s extremely attractive and I like him a lot more than I did, but I know for a fact he doesn’t want me as his S’rentha. Besides—we hardly know each other!

Though she supposed after everything they’d been through together on this mission, she really couldn’t usethatexcuse anymore. After all, since she’d met him, the big Monstrum had saved her life twice, taken a death-defying ride over a bottomless chasm with her, and had penetrated her intimately during the strangest dinner of her life. In some ways, she probably knew him better than she had known her ex, Mike.

Still—she knew for a fact that the big Monstrum didn’t want to be bonded to her—he had said it over and over again. So therehadto be another way to neutralize the cream he’d shot inside her before it drove her crazy.

“There is one other way,” T’zaren repeated. “But I’m afraid you’re not going to like it, Lucille.”

“Why not?” Lucy asked apprehensively. “Is it painful? Or unpleasant?”

“It’s not painful but I fear you’ll think it is unpleasant.” He took a deep breath and looked at her. “The only other way to neutralize the effects of the cream is for me to worship you.”

“Uh…what?” This bizarre answer took Lucy completely off-guard. “What are you talking about? Like build an altar to me and bow down and say prayers or something?” she asked, frowning.

“What? No—though it isn’t uncommon for a male of my kind to kneel before hisS’rentha,”T’zaren said. “When I say I need toworshipyou, I mean with my mouth and tongue.”

Lucy shook her head.

“Sorry—I still don’t get it.”

His forehead creased into a frown of concentration.

“Does this word have some other meaning in English? Let me try to explain—the same chemicals that are present in my seed, which can neutralize the effects of the warming cream—are also present in my saliva. So when I say that I need toworshipyou, I mean that I must lick you and taste you.”

“Oh!” Lucy finally got the picture and she could feel her cheeks getting red as she realized what he wanted to do. “So you’re saying you’ll have to, uh, go down on me?”

T’zaren frowned.

“’Go down?’ Isthatwhat you humans call it when a male worships hisS’renthawith his mouth? As though he isloweringhimself when he pleasures her?”

“Well, I mean, that’soneeuphemism for it,” Lucy admitted. “Or I guess you could just say ‘oral sex.’”

“Neither of those encompasses the deep emotions that come into play during true pussy worship,” T’zaren growled. He sounded almost angry—as though the phrase ‘to go down’ on a woman was demeaning in some way. “True pussy worship is a sacrament,” he told her. “It’s the way a male shows hisS’renthathat he holds her in high esteem and will do anything to please and pleasure her.”

“Wow…you’re really serious about this.” Lucy looked at him with wide eyes.

“Of course I am. Do you not know that Monstrum and other kinds of Kindred warriors have a biologicalneedto taste their females?” T’zaren asked.

“No…no I didn’t. Um, I don’t know much about Monstrum except what Iyanna has told me about her marriage to Dra’vik,” she admitted.

“Well, now know you,” T’zaren growled. “Though I’m afraid it’s going to be a problem in this case.”

“Why?” Lucy asked.

“Because I know you don’t like it—that human women in general don’t like it,” T’zaren said.

It was Lucy’s turn to frown.

“Who told youthat?”she asked.
