I wrinkled my nose. "Why is he talking about Transformers in his caption? He sounds like a little kid.”
“Fine. What about him?” I stared at the guy on the screen. He looked like a surfer. “He’s hot.” She swiped right.
“Okay. What about this one?” I stared at the guy who said he was a med student. “He’s a little young, and he's still in school."
"He's twenty-five, girl."
"Yeah. I mean, he's kind of cute." She swiped right.
"What about this one? He's gorgeous."
I shook my head. “It says he likes to go to the gym at five o'clock every morning."
"Yeah, so? That means he's in shape."
"Uh-huh, when's the last time I went to the gym?"
She giggled. "That's not a big deal."
"Guys who go to the gym at five o'clock in the morning want a woman who's going to the gym with them. No way, Jose. I like my sleep too much."
"Fine," she said. "Oh my gosh, what about him? He's a cop, and he looks super hot."
"He says his name is Sylvester Nolony."
"Yeah, and?"
"Sylvester Nolony? Do I look like I want to be Alice Nolony?"
Rosalie sat back and crossed her arms. "Alice, you have got to stop being so picky."
"I'm not trying to be picky. I'm just saying—" My phone started beeping then.
"Oh, Foster just texted you," she said and handed me the phone. "I thought he was overseas."
"He is," I said quickly. "I think he's still in Europe." I grabbed my phone, ignoring my beating heart. I opened the message.
