Somehow, we defied the odds and Massimo has agreed to allow us to be together.

It hurts that Massimo is basically turning his back on me, but life unhappily married to a stranger I don’t know would have torn me to shreds, especially when my heart has already been claimed.

“Emotions and expressing them don’t come naturally to me, but I want you to know you can have all of me. Every single part belongs to you, Camilla.”

Tears pool in my eyes as I rise onto my tiptoes and kiss him, knowing that I’ve never felt so happy despite the carnage our love has caused.

Mia will be ecstatic to learn that I no longer have to marry Alejandro.

“Can I borrow your cell phone?”

His brow furrows, but he passes me his cell phone without question.

I type in Mia’s cell number and it rings two times before she picks up. “Hello?”

“Mia, it’s me!”

“Camilla. Oh my God, are you okay?”

“Yes, Gavril kidnapped me to get Massimo to call off the wedding.”

There’s silence on the other end, before she says. “That’s crazy, but kind of romantic.”

I laugh. “Yeah, well it worked, but I think I’m kicked out of the famiglia.”

“Not to me, you aren’t.” There’s some rustling on the other end of the phone. “Sandro is fine. It was a flesh wound.”

“I know,” I say, glancing at Gavril.

“How?”

“He told me he ensured it wasn’t fatal.”

She sighs. “So, what happens now?”

“Good question,” I say, twirling a strand of my hair around my finger. “I honestly don’t know yet.”

“Well, keep me updated. I’m at the hospital with Sandro, but you can call me anytime. After all, I’m a Callaghan now, not a Morrone.”

I swallow hard, hoping that this doesn’t get in between us. “Right. I’ll give you a call soon.”

“You’d better had. I’ve got to go.” She cancels the call.

“Everything okay?” Gav asks.

I nod. “Yeah.” I walk back to him and place his cell phone in his hand. “I wanted to tell Mia what happened.”

“Fair enough.” He stows the phone in the pocket of his joggers. It’s surprising how sexy he looks in such casual clothes. I’m so used to seeing him in a suit.

“I like the look.”

His brow furrows. “Don’t tease, Camilla.”

“I’m serious.” I place my hand on his chest. “Would you like to give me a workout, sir?”

He growls, grabbing my hand and spinning me around so my back is molded against his hard chest. “Is that what you want?” he asks, his lips close to my ear.

I wiggle my hips, grinding my ass on the hardness of his cock. “I want you, right now.”
