Technically, we are now on the run, but I don’t feel it. I feel content and at peace with my two lovers. Soren and Jason are different but perfect in their own ways. Each of them gives me something I need, and hopefully I give each of them what they need in turn. I’m still stunned they fell in love with me. Not just lust, but love. I know it’s real because they’re still not tired of me. They’re there every morning when I wake up, and I fall asleep in their arms each and every night. They give me safety, security, and a place to be — between them.
Jason sets me down in the middle again, and we settle. The birds sing. The frogs croak. The world spins. And I win.
