“Mmm, yes, Sir.” His gorgeous green eyes flooded with lust.
“Did you hear Dean is back?” I asked.
I cut another piece of my waffle and extended it to Cam, who was, as always for our breakfast routine, sitting on the floor next to my chair, legs folded neatly underneath him, hands in his lap. He closed his mouth around the fork and sent me a quick smile.
KC chuckled and raised his brows at me. “Didn’t I tell you he was at Macklin’s orgy?”
What on earth?
I frowned, absently combing my fingers through Cam’s soft hair. “Are we talking about the same Dean?”
I noticed Noa watching us as if we were in a tennis match as he munched happily on a waffle drenched in whipped cream and strawberry preserves.
“I know what you’re thinking,” KC said. “I thought it was weird too, but I didn’t see him engage with Macklin all that much. Nothing sexual anyway.”
Hmm. I mean, it wouldn’t exactly be wrong if they had been sexual with each other. Nevertheless, they’d always gone out of their way to avoid attending the same events in the past, considering Dean and Macklin’s ex-husband were brothers. Foster brothers. Or, to be exact, Walker’s mother had been Dean’s foster parent. They’d grown up like brothers.
“In my professional opinion,” Noa said, “I found Professor Dean’s cock to be very delicious.”
I coughed around a chuckle, less surprised to hear that than about Dean’s appearance at one of Mack’s events in the first place.
KC smiled fondly and reached over to wipe a napkin over Noa’s mouth. “You were a good little fuck-puppy for him.”
I took a sip of my coffee and brought my iPad screen back to life so I could see what time it was.
“You two should get going soon, love,” I said. I didn’t want KC to fall behind on his training. We’d been staying here at the cabin almost every day this week, and that meant he had to go home to use the pool. The one we had here was understandably only open in the summer, but ours at home was indoors.
“We should. Finish up, baby boy,” he told Noa. “We were thinking we could meet up with Lucian and Cam for lunch after they’ve looked at cars.”
“Okay, but we gotta do two whole hours of training—that’s the rule, Daddy,” Noa replied.
I could count on him. I admired him a great deal for how wholeheartedly he’d dedicated himself to KC’s daily exercise. Not that my friend had shown any signs of slacking off or neglecting his very necessary rehab training, but every now and then, he would suggest working out later in the day, and that was a no-go. The whole point of him working out in the morning was to prepare his body for the day. Which allowed him to walk more, to move somewhat freely.
“I haven’t forgotten.” KC patted Noa’s hand and smiled indulgently. “And I hope you haven’t forgotten what you’re doing before the event tonight.”
As if Noa would forget. What’d started out as a punishment a couple months ago when he had bratted off too much had become a ritual of sorts lately for intense playtime, whether it was an event or something we did at home.
KC gave him an enema.
“I remember.” Noa shoveled the last of his waffle into his mouth. “You know what they say, keep your friends close and your enemas closer.”
I laughed and shook my head.
KC’s eyes flashed with amusement. “I wasn’t talking about the enema. We agreed you’d try diaper play.”
Oh. That was news to me.
Noa suddenly became squirmy. “So we’re really doing that, huh?”
KC inclined his head. “I want to see what it does to your mind-set.”
The boy mustered the weakest smile and went, “Yay…”
Cam and I weren’t back at Mclean House until early evening. By then, guests were arriving for the festivities. Everyone was excited to see the second floor of the house, though that would have to wait till we got started with the event. The party, on the other hand, was being hosted in the semi-permanent tent structure down the hill on the other side of the house, where I could already hear loud music thumping.
“Come, my darling.” I held out a hand for Cam.
He skipped over to me and slipped his hand into mine. “I can’t shake the smile, Master.”
Good. That made me happy. “Maybe you’ll be more open to letting me spoil you now.”
He laughed breathily. “I think you just covered that for the next ten years.”
Nonsense. He needed that car. He didn’t spend as much time in the city where the Metro was a block away any longer. Sure, we had our new condo in Arlington, and he worked in the city. But we both preferred to sleep at our house here in Mclean, and if he took the train to work, he had to get up earlier. Plus, with all the errands and picking up Noa…
