“I’ll drive you home,” Shane said after he paid the bill. He’d insisted on covering her meal since she’d done him a favor.
“I brought my car,” she said. “But thanks for the offer.”
They walked outside, and Shane drew Faith aside as Dylan hugged his mother goodbye.
He didn’t touch her, but his gaze was like a caress. “I wish I could kiss you right now.”
Faith moistened her lips. “So do I. But you’d better not in front of Dylan and Hunter.”
He sighed, raking a hand through his hair. “One day, I will.”
Flutters erupted in her stomach. With that simple statement, he’d made his intentions clear, and she liked it. A lot. Shane wanted to do the naked tango with her, and she couldn’t wait for that time to come. “Bye, gorgeous,” she said, sashaying away. “Dream of me.”
