“Aaron?” Sophie looks up at him. “After your brother. Valerie’s standing godmother, but I think that Aaron would make a really good godfather.”

“You think so?” Holden breathes in wonder.

Roman nods, just like that we all agree. Sophie yawns and makes herself comfortable. “I’m so tired.”

“Can I?” I ask, motioning to our little girl.

Sophie nods. “She’ll like that.”

I pull the little thing into my arm and marvel over her. I count her fingers twice, three times until ten seems like a hard number to count to. I touch her itty bitty hand and sniff. “She’s perfect.”

“Ten toes too.” The nurse tells me, showing me little Aria’s feet. I grin and she blushes. “She’s a perfect little thing. Mr. Agosti should be very happy.”

“We’re all happy,” Holden says as he bounces our son.

“I’m sure. She’s perfectly healthy and the babies are healthy and-” Her hand brushes my arm. “Wow, you’re really built, aren’t you?”

“She’s just .... gorgeous,” I purr at my daughter. She tries to open her eyes and I think I fall in love all over again as she works so hard to focus on my face. She grunts or makes a little sound and I feel my eyes water. “Roman ...”

He’s standing over Holden’s shoulder, crying as he looks at our new son. He wipes at his cheeks. “Our family is so perfect.”

“You know ... I get off work in about two hours.” The nurse says while biting her lip. “And I’m eager to have some dinner.”

“Hey!” Diana storms into the room and points at the nurse. “You listen here, if my daughter is asleep, I’m the one who flirts with all of her husbands.”

“Plural?” The nurse’s eyes drop to my finger and the ring right there.

“Daddy Gunner, is that the baby?” Link tugs on my pants. I squat down so he can see his new little sister.

“This is Aria, she’s your new baby sister.”

“I told Mommy. Only boys.” He stomps his foot.

Aria squirms and Link leans his head to the side. “So fat ... and little.”

I laugh and the guys do too. Nick lifts Cora to see her little brother and introduces them. “Cora, this is Sebastian, your little brother.”

Link grins. “We’re gonna have so much fun. We can make a fort!”

I sit down and get Link on one leg as I hold the baby. He continues. “I’ll even share my Legos. Just don’t eat them.”

Rubbing his head, I kiss his messy hair. “These babies are so lucky to have you and Cora. You’re going to have a lot to teach them. And you’re going to have to share a lot more.”

He nods and takes Aria’s hand very gently. “Small and little.”

“You’re going to have to protect them with Cora,” Roman says.

Sophie hums and Link immediately goes to her, trying to climb up the hospital bed. Sophie smiles and cuddles him close. Cora takes her other side and she looks over all of us and her mom and dad.

“The very best family,” Sophie says. “My happily ever after keeps getting better.”

I kiss the top of her head and nod. Looking at our new babies, our full family, our everything is too much. I end up crying with the guys. This is a happily ever after, but it just keeps going. There is no good ‘the end’ for us when life just keeps exceeding our expectations.
