“You four spoil me silly,” I disagree. “and none of you have let me do any chores in the last week.”

“Good.”

“We want you all rested up for trick-or-treating on Sunday,” Roman says.

“Yay! Cora, we’re gonna dress up!” Link cheers, all his worries forgotten.

I relax and enjoy the rest of our day, including setting up a time for my parents to pick up Link and Cora on Friday so we can have the Halloween party here since Valerie and her husbands are eager to join us. I think we might even get Juliana to mingle if she’s not out of the country.

Gunner and Nick come home, right on time and we all have dinner together, enjoy our game night with the kids, then lay around the living room together. Gunner nudges me halfway through the movie we’re watching.

“I think you should try on your costume, sweets.”

Holden and Roman obviously agree, but I shake my head as I laugh. “Absolutely not. You four would rip it off me and I’d have nothing to wear to the party!”

“She makes a good point,” Nick says, but he eyes me hungrily anyway. “But we could always buy you a new one.”

I squeal and spend the rest of the week, trying to keep my husbands from getting their eager hands on my costume, even though I’m more than happy to let them put their hands all over me.

ROMAN

“The kids?” Nick asks as we put the finishing touches on our costumes.

“With Miles and Diana. They’re thrilled to have a movie night with Cora and Link. All Halloween-themed,” I report.

“Our wife?” Holden asks while adjusting his pirate costume for the third time.

“With Gunner at the airport,” I say. “Do I look enough like a zombie?”

“Yes.” Nick chuckles.

“How big do you think the party will be?”

“Big enough,” Nick assures us. “We can have our hands all over Sophie.”

Of course, she comes in with Valerie, Hunter, Lief, and Chase ten minutes later. She kisses each of us, then runs off with Valerie to get dressed. Lief stands there, his hair swept back. I nudge him. “What are you?”

“Vampire.” He flashes fangs.

Hunter and Chase nod. “We’reallvampires.”

“All?” Gunner asks. “Really?”

“We let Valerie plan the costumes,” Chase admits. “But considering what she is ... I think it’s fair.”

All three of them chuckle. Lief has more life on his face than I’ve seen ever. Valerie is good for them, just like Sophie’s been good for us – even if good is an understatement. Just as more people start showing up, Sophie walks out.

Her witch costume doesn’t hide her belly, her cleavage, or her amazing ass. Her legs are on display and the fishnets are a dare. I want to rip them off her right now. The little black dress, the modest hat, and the alluring makeup that make her eyes spellbinding.

“We’re in trouble.” Gunner pats my shoulder. “How the fuck are we supposed to resist her all night?”

“She’s not wearing that trick-or-treating.” I say in a dark voice.

“Oh?” Nick asks, then he looks at our wife. “Holy ...”

She notices the three of us staring and blushes. She was worried she wouldn’t fit into it and now we’re just trying to figure out the best way to rip it off her.
