“So don’t.” Tris pulled back first, stroking Len’s hair and then turning his face to me. “She’s right there, alpha. You have to be able to feel it, to sense it, to taste her need.”

“Fuck, yes…”

“I’ve never been able to say no to Kit, not ever, and I won’t say no to this. I say yes.”

“What the hell are you saying, Tris?” I asked, feeling naked, way more than I ever had without my clothes. My heart thudded as I realised what he got from me, now I was his mate. He saw it all—that hard snarly ball of lies I’d held so close to my chest, stuffing it down deep so he didn’t see it.

But he did now. He saw everything I wanted and everything I needed, and I just wanted to cry as a result.

“Kit, it’s OK. I can see it now, all of it. We’re going to war, baby, but we’ll have warriors by our side. No one is going to bring us down again. No one.”

His hand was on the back of my neck as he steered me over to Len.

“Come and get your girl, alpha.”

But Tris didn’t pull away, he just moved behind me, unzipping my dress as Len stared.

“Is he right? You gonna be my girl? I was gonna do this right, take you out, do all the sweet things you deserve. Woo you, Kit. I had it all planned.”

I laughed, even though my eyes were full of tears.

“You still can, Len. Actually, I’m going to demand that happens. I’m due some wooing.” I looked over my shoulder at Tristan, who was tracing the length of my spine with his lips. “Pretty sure Tris just gave me rocks he found in the garden and shells from the beach.”

“Hey, they were special rocks, shiny ones,” he retorted. “The line’s been drawn, alpha. Now you gotta step up. Pretty rocks or better.”

“Done deal,” Len replied, reaching out and tracing the hollows of my neck. “Date night once a week, princess, just me and you.”

“And me,” Tris asserted.

“Two omegas.” He made a show of wincing. “What the fuck was I thinking?”

“You’re thinking this.” Tris peeled the bodice of my dress down, revealing me to Len. “That she’s beautiful, sweet, hot, smart, funny, and too fucking good for the both of us.”

“Yeah,” Len said, nodding slowly. “That’s what I’m thinking. You’re a goddess, baby, and it’s time to worship you a little. You on board with that, Wonder Boy?”

“Wonder Boy? Yeah, I like that. And try and keep me away. I’m giving her to you, because she needs you, Len, but no matter where she is, I am. She’s always mine. Just treat her right, please, alpha.”

And so I was drawn up off the bed, the rest of my dress removed, then their clothes as well, until the three of us were back where we were in the playroom—naked, and ready to jump off and do something momentous.

Chapter 35

“Just stop for a second.”

I stood there without a stitch on, feeling like I was standing on the precipice of something huge. Len moved closer, instantly dwarfing me with his massive size. His fingers went to the buttons of his shirt, undoing them one by one, and my eyes followed each slow reveal of brown skin. I heard Tristan doing the same, but much faster, the press of his warm, naked skin giving me exactly what I needed—that comforting weight, heat of his hard cock into my hip.

“Look at him, Kit. The big bad alpha’s hanging on tenterhooks for you, babe.”

Len just grit his teeth, then pulled off his shirt in that eminently unselfconscious way alphas do, but we weren’t quite so cool. Tris’ fingers were restive on my skin, tracing strange patterns, making me shiver as Len’s hands went to his jeans.

“He’s hard, wanting…” I let out a little whine in response. “He needs you. A soft little omega, she’s gonna bring the Big Bad Wolf to his knees.”

And Len, he did just that, dropping down onto the carpet, rigid cock bobbing, staring up at us. I jumped when his hand landed on my hip, the thumb swiping back and forth.

“Fuck, omega…” Len hissed. “You’re so damn beautiful. You’re burned into the inside of my lids like the sun. I see you every time I close my eyes, golden, burning. It makes looking at you now so fucking hard. You’re a fallen angel, with tear tracks on your face and—”

“God, I must look a mess!” I gasped out, my hands going to my cheeks. “My mascara must be—”

Tris silenced me with a punishing kiss, pushing all thoughts away as he held me, pressing his body to mine. Skin to skin, we stood, kissing until I was light-headed with it. He watched me waver on my feet, chuckling before turning me back to Len.
