"Zane didn't come home last night?"
"Tsk, no. You must not have beat enough sense into him," Brax replied.
"You think his friends are a part of that club thing?" Logan questioned.
"You mean the cool kids cult. No, they’re too weak to be a part of that, especially after Jewel beat them so easily."
"Jewel was holding back big time and if it wasn't for the fact we were being tested on creativity as well, they would have been done for in twenty seconds with one direct hit," Logan informed, making me smile at his confidence in me.
"I could sense that. That's why I doubt Zane's new friends are connected with a cult." Brax sighed.
"You think they want to be in it? So they are trying to do disruptive behavior that could help them be considered?" Logan wondered.
Brax took a moment to think about it.
"Maybe. It's a weird way to be considered, but it could be an option."
"Let's give him space but if he doesn't come home this weekend, you have to confront him," Logan pointed out.
"I'll have no choice. My mom already found out about his dick move," Brax admitted.
"Shit. Really?"
"Yup. She called while I was watching Jewel so Kage picked up. She's not happy and Korean moms are scary when they’re mad."
"I think all moms are. It's like a part of the brain that suddenly flicks on the moment we're born," Logan mused.
I quietly snickered at the comment, shaking my head.
"Guess we’ll find out what's going on by Monday. We need to get some major studying done tonight and this weekend," Logan commented.
"Will do. Shouldn't take long if we work together and exchange notes. On Sunday, we can do some outdoor training since its gonna be really nice outside," Brax suggested.
"Sounds like a good plan. Let's go make some breakfast before Jewel finishes up."
"Kage is already on it. He's making brunch," Brax acknowledged.
Logan put his hands behind his head as he stretched. "Cool. If Jewel’s not done in twenty minutes, can you check on her? I'm gonna go let Ms. Landsford know she's coming to class. Just to have a watchful eye on her."
"Alright."
"And don't go leaving hickeys on her neck," Logan grumbled.
"You got to kiss her like the world was ending. I should at least be allowed a steamy hickey or two,” Brax defended.
"It was five."
"Really? Lost count. I was lost in the moment." Brax shrugged.
"You're an ass," Logan commented.
"I'm a confident ass and proud of it. C'mon leader, let's get moving." Brax moved behind Logan, placing his hands on his shoulders.
"Ah! Fuck that hurts. I don't want a massage from you. Leave me alone," Logan complained. "And since when the fuck am I the leader?"
"I don't know, now move." Brax encouraged as he forced him to continue forward.
He looked back, his eyes meeting mine from the crack of the washroom door and he winked.
