“God, I haven’t considered marriage.”

“Well, do so now. I’ll have my family get on with it. It shouldn’t take too long to set up.”

“Wait, what?”

“I want you in my bed by the end of the week, Angel.”

“Seriously?”

“Fuck, yes.”

“That’s not enough time to put together a wedding.”

“Yes, it is. Your sisters got married fast, and we will, too.”

“Do I have a say on anything?” she asked.

“Yes, what you want to wear, who you want standing up with you, and the cake.”

She snorted and then moaned when his mouth took hers again.

He raised his head. “Let’s go tell the family.”

“Wait. Can’t we get to know each other a bit more before we take this step?” Angelica asked.

“We’ll have years to get to know one another, Angel.”

She sighed. “Fine. I want to tell my mother in person.”

“We’ll drive over there today,” Duncan said.

God, he was going too fast, but she didn’t have the strength to pull him back because she wanted the same thing.

Chapter Six

Duncan took her hand, helped her stand, and smoothed out her clothes. He wrapped an arm around her waist as they walked downstairs. He took her to Alastair’s office and found him there with his other brother Graham.

“Guys, you’ll be the first to know that Angel and I will be getting married.”

Duncan grinned when Alistair groaned, and Graham chuckled.

“When?” Alastair asked.

“Well, as soon as possible.”

“Please tell me you’re not thinking today, are you?” Alastair asked.

“No, I’ll give you two days.”

“Oh, wow, thanks,” Alastair said sarcastically.

“We’re going to go tell her sisters and then go to see her mother.”

Alastair stood. “Fine. I’ll go find Dad and have him call his friend the judge to marry you two.”

“I’ll go into the kitchen and tell them. Today is Wednesday, so you’re thinking Friday?” Graham asked.

“Yes. Late afternoon,” Duncan said.
