He snatched her wrist in his hand, making her yelp. “Be careful, Bell.”
“I’m allowed to touch.”
“That go both ways?”
“Obviously. I’m not a prude.”
He shifted to his side, cupping her face before kissing her again. He felt hungry, taking more. Nothing would get her to stop him. She loved the feel of his lips, his mouth, his tongue. He was thorough and a very good kisser.
She ran her hand around his back, loving how hard all his muscles felt. He made his move quickly, cupping her ass and giving it a firm squeeze. She definitely had more than a handful of curves, so she hoped he liked them. When she felt the hard length of his cock press against her aching core, she broke the kiss and gasped for air.
She was twenty-three. The thought of having a serious relationship or sex shouldn’t scare her. Of course, Tank was no ordinary man. He’d probably be hung like a horse based on his size and height.
“You okay, baby?” He trailed kisses along her jawline.
“I’m good.”
“You feel tense.”
“This is just all new for me,” she said.
He nuzzled her neck, his tongue teasing an erogenous zone she didn’t know she had. “You want to go back to the friend zone?”
She scowled. “I’m not going backward, Tank. I want this. I want you.” Bell trailed a fingertip along the tattoo on his collarbone. Then she studied his face, finding such rugged masculinity. “Your eyes are beautiful. I never realized how blue they were.”
“Guys aren’t supposed to be beautiful,” he said.
“Sorry, they’re a very manly blue.”
“Better.”
He was about to kiss her again when the sound of motorcycles rumbled in the distance. Tank sprang up into a sitting position, his body on edge.
“What’s wrong?” she asked, sitting up to join him.
“Nothing.”
She followed his gaze, and sure enough, two bikes approached on the road. They came to a stop in front of the park.
Tank cursed under his breath.
Two men walked across the lawns toward them, both dressed in all black, complete with cuts. She wasn’t sure if they were the same as Tank’s or different. They appeared menacing, like death coming to collect.
She noticed how Tank shifted his position so his frame mostly sheltered her from view. Was there going to be trouble?
“No invite?” said the dark-haired man.
The other man tried not to laugh but failed.
“What do you want, Brick? Kind of busy here.”
Brick tilted his head to the side. “Not going to introduce us?”
Bell peeked around his shoulder. “Hi, my name’s Bell.”
Tank exhaled in irritation.
“Nice to meet you, Bell.”
