“No, I mean all my electronic shit’s still set up from that last job I had, but I haven’t stayed there in a few weeks.”
“Mind if we use it for the rest of the weekend?”
“Only if you can pry yourself off Ash tomorrow long enough for us all to hang out.”
“I guess…” West said, pulling me against him and crashing his lips to mine. “You’ll be getting the royal treatment, princess. You deserve it.”
Damn right I do.
Axelhadafreakingpenthouseroom all to himself at his dad’s hotel. It was bigger than his pool house, so he would use it when he needed to set up his computers and other electronics for tech work. That’s what I called it at least. Based on the things I learned since being rescued from Ethereal, I had a hunch Axel was more than a little involved in his dad’s businesses.
The place was gorgeous–a fully open floor plan with a huge white and cream kitchen and island. The living room had two cream couches and a white leather chair, a massive TV mounted to the wall and every imaginable video game organized neatly in front of it.
“The bedroom’s through that door. There’s an ensuite with towels and toiletries. If you need anything else, just use the intercom to page the desk downstairs. They have dedicated staff just for the penthouse rooms, so the service is pretty quick,” Axel informed us as he handed West the key to the room. The elevator required the key and a passcode to stop on our floor, so I felt safe knowing we wouldn’t have any unwanted visitors.
Who would be dropping by? Every asshole who was after me is dead or on their way to Bumfuck, New Hampshire.
“Thanks, man.” West and Axel fist-bumped before Axel left.
West spun around to me, a huge smile plastered on his face.
“Now what?” I asked as West approached me.
“Now,” West said as he hooked his fingers in the loops of my jeans and tugged. Heat bloomed inside me as he pushed his hard body against mine. “Now we go enjoy that huge bathtub. I’ll order room service for a late lunch, and I’ll be having you for dessert,” West said as he kissed my lips, trailing down my neck.
I smiled as he led the way through the bedroom to the ensuite bathroom. The bedroom was decorated like the rest of the place–light and cream colors adorned the bed and furniture, and the bathroom was stark white with splashes of gray.
West began filling the bathtub that appeared large enough to hold six people or more. It was the largest bathtub I’d ever seen.
“I’m in heaven,” I sighed as he began stripping his clothes off.
“You’re too kind,” West replied with a smirk.
“I’ve always wanted a tub like this. Something I could use every night after a long day. Read my Kindle…”
“You and those damn books,” West joked as he poured us two glasses of whiskey.
“Hey, they give me good ideas,” I said, taking in his perfect, naked form as I began undressing.
West got in the tub first, grinning like a kid in a candy store. “I haven’t taken a bath since I was five.”
I laughed as I slid in front of him, the warm water surrounding me and releasing all tension. I relaxed against West’s body and his arms encircled me, pulling me close. He nuzzled my neck and sucked on the delicate skin as I sipped the whiskey. His hard cock pressed into me and I gave my ass a little wiggle.
“If you want this bath to last longer than two minutes, you can’t do that.”
I turned my head up to look at him. “This doesn’t feel real.”
“You’ve been through a lot, princess. Are you okay?”
“I will be. I can’t believe Ishotsomeone,” I shuddered. Even though it had to be done, the memory of it was still a little haunting.
West kissed my forehead and shifted me so I was straddling his lap. “I know, baby. You did a good thing, though. You saved other girls from being raped. From living in fear.”
I nodded as West kissed my neck gently, moving down to my breasts and taking a nipple in his mouth. He sucked it and let it pop from his lips, moving to the other one to do the same. I poured some of the whiskey from my glass down his neck and licked it up with my tongue. He groaned and rubbed his hands over my hips and ass cheeks.
“West,” I said. He looked up at me, his dark eyes sparkling, his hair messy. He was fucking perfect. “I love you.”
He smiled and took my face in his hands. “I’m not sure I know what love is. But I know that the thought of you not being in my life makes me sick. I can’t imagine waking up and not having you next to me. I’ll try my fucking hardest not to screw this up, princess. I guess what I’m saying is, I love you so fucking much, Ashtyn Hawthorne.”
