“I come with secrets of my own. You should know that,” she panted.

Settling between her legs, he seemed disinclined to pull out. After untying her wrists, both hands came down on either side of her face. “Any of those secrets gonna keep us from bein’ together?”

“No.”

“Any of them involve danger?”

Nodding, she whispered, “I can’t go back or see my family. There’s a man there and he’s wealthy and—”

Bringing his lips down to her ear, he whispered, “Save it for another time. As long as you’re with me, you’re safe.”

Tiffany could feel her heart beating wildly in her chest. Ryder would be hard-pressed to deal with the Sawyer family. But she’d been gone for years. He’d moved on. Surely, he wouldn’t still be looking for her. She’d lay low. He’d never find her.

Ryder grabbed her chin gently, tilting her face up. “Dealin’ with that kind of shit ain’t nothin’ but a normal day for me, doll. Stop panicking and forget him.”

Wrapping her arms around her big, sexy biker, Tiffany tried to do just that. This was her chance to begin living the life she’d always wanted. She was not going to allow a man from her past to steal away her moment of happiness.

That bold thought was followed by the realization that as long as Sawyer was out there and there was even a possibility that he could find her, she’d always feel like she was hanging off a cliff waiting for the inevitable drop.

Right now, though, she was in the best possible place she could be: with her sexy, badass biker who would do everything in his power to shield her from harm.

With that thought in mind, Tiffany grabbed Ryder’s face with both hands and brought him down for a searing kiss knowing that, together, they were unstoppable.

The End.
