“Damn, where the fuck did that girl come from? That doesn’t sound like our Shasta.”

Snyder grinned. “Nothing says up for anything than a girl who’s been burned.”

“So, you’re saying in order to cash in a Hall Pass, she’s gotta be pissed off at Sabbath?”

“Pretty much,” I answered. “But right now, they are all happy and shit. It makes me want to vomit.”

Snyder saluted me with his beer. “And we’re here drinking our Hall Passes away like a bunch of losers.”

“Speak for yourself, I didn’t lose shit. I took what rightfully belonged to me.”

Snyder scoffed. “Shit. The only person Shasta belongs to is Sabbath. You know that. I know that. Fuck, the whole damn world knows that.”

We all drank our beers simultaneously, letting the silence roll in.

“Well, here’s to you two lucky motherfuckers,” Sandman said, toasting us with his almost gone beer. “The only two men other than Sabbath that got a piece of Shasta Hall.”

I smirked.

“Why the fuck do you keep smiling like that?” Snyder growled.

“Ohhhhh, no reason.” My smile slid even further across my face.

But I definitely had a reason. What neither one of them realized was I knew a secret that was about to blow this whole club apart. Once the news broke, that happy little bubble Sabbath and Shasta were in would be popped, and I’d weasel my way back into her bed. If she could be blackmailed once, she could be blackmailed again. Now all I had to do was convince the source of the problem to come clean.

Chapter Seven

Shasta

I felt closer to Sabbath than I ever had before. Somehow, what happened up at the cabin had brought us closer together. He didn’t even look at other girls anymore. His only focus was on me.

“Hey, babe, I’m going for a ride later. Want to come with me?”

Everything in my body lit up like a firecracker. There was nothing sexier than hopping on the back of Sabbath’s bike and riding the back roads with him.

“Sure.”

He grinned, moving across the room until he was at my side. His fingers curled a piece of hair away from my face and over my ear, and he looked so serious.

“You know that I love you, right?”

“Yes, I know that.”

“Good. Because I’m a changed man now, Shasta. I’m never going to cheat on you ever again.”

I frowned. Hearing him admit his little indiscretion out loud had my stomach coiling. What would happen if he ever found out about Clash and Snyder? Would this little honeymoon period we were in break apart as quickly as it came together?

“Do you really mean that, Adam?”

“Yes, babe, I do. You’re the only woman who matters to me.”

He kissed me hard, pressing me against the mattress as he climbed over the top of me. We were both fully clothed, but I could feel his erection through his jeans. It was rock hard and ready for me.

“Please,” I begged. “I need you.”

He nodded, carefully peeling my shirt off my body until my bare breasts were kissed with the cool air-conditioned air. My nipples were sensitive to any kind of coolness and instantly hardened with lusty need.

“God, I love your breasts,” he murmured, giving each one equal amounts of stimulation before I felt his hand move down my torso. “Let’s get these off of you.” The words came out so seductively, like him discarding my clothing was the sexiest thing on the planet.
