What the hell is wrong with me?That shouldn’t have happened.I storm into my room and slam the door shut, but Don smacks it from behind me, keeping it open.
“Seriously, man. What the fuck?!” he snarls, clenching his fists. Sparks are starting to escape his palms. This isn’t good.
“I need to punch somethingright now. Let’s hit the gym,” I say, grabbing my shoes from the corner.
He grunts but follows behind me. When we walk through the gym door, he starts up again. “Seriously, what is the point of having a concealment spell if you guys aren't going to use it? The moaning, grunting, smacking. Like, fuck man, I need to get laid, but the only one I want doesn't seem to want me,” he sulks. Is he seriously pouting right now?
“Trust me, dude. This morning never should have happened. I went way too far,” I admit, gripping my hair and tugging, trying to punish myself.
“What did you do, Arrow?”
I groan and pull my wind to my center, before unleashing it on the punching bag with a roar.
Don comes up behind me and punches me in the face, pulling me back.
“What the hell, Donovan?! Why did you hit me?” I shout.
He shrugs and moves to the other side of the gym. “Felt like it. You haven’t said what happened this morning, but by the way you’re acting, you deserved it.”
I wipe the trickle of blood from the corner of my mouth and sigh. He’s right.I wiggle my jaw.Fuck, that's going to bruise.“Did you have to hit me so hard?” I snap and he laughs.
“You tell me. What did you do to Silver?”
I think back to having her under me, flushed with a slight sheen of sweat. The feeling of her tight ass. I adjust my hardening dick and snort. “Left her in the middle of a threesome. She’s fine. Wells will make up for it.”
He stops what he's doing and spins. “You left? Why the fuck would you do that?” He groans and adjusts himself as well. “If she would give me the time, I wouldn't let her leave my bed for days.”
“Because she is a snake and a liar. I don’t trust her.” I snap.Fuck!
“What the hell are you talking about, Arrow? What have you been keeping from us?” Don demands, shock encasing his features.
I sigh and plop down on the mat. “Nothing, man. I don’t know for sure if what I saw was real. Just a vibe. After getting to know her, she doesn’t seem to be malicious or conniving—just keep your guard up. It's bad enough Wells is shopping for rings.”
He laughs at that. “I have never seen him so gone for a girl before. I’ll keep my eyes open. I don’t have to trust her to fuck her, man. You’re thinking too hard about this,” he says, then smacks me on the shoulder, leaving the room.
That may be true, but Silver Forest is a temptress, and her pull is becoming too hard to deny.
